Delightful property, beautifully appointed and maintained, set in charming gardens. Rick is a personable and knowledgeable host who ensured our stay was most enjoyable.

On the riverbank, little rabbits and birds. Close to town. Very pleasant, friendly and obliging hosts. Comfortable bed and fantastic shower. beautiful cooked breakfast kept me going until lunchtime.

it was worth the price but as a single pensioner I couldn’t afford to go there too often.

The owners were very friendly and the accommodation was just perfect I would recommend it to everyone long or short stay

We have stayed with Kate and Rick before. It's like catching up with friends. The location is lovely, looking out over the gardens to the Blackwood River. The rooms are comfortable, and breakfast is amazing.

The location was great overlooking the Blackwood River. The Host met us on arrival and gave us information for our stay. The B&B was quiet with lovely sounds of birds. Breakfast was delicious and overall and a top place to spend time in the country.

Fantastic base while we cycled in Se\/en over the weekend. Rick and Kate were very welcoming and breakfast was delicious - they have made a very comfortable placed to stay. Loved the view over the gardens and Blackwood river, we even went for a walk along the river just before sunset. The birdlife comes up quite close to the balcony - loved seeing the little wrens!

Beautiful garden setting. There are only two rooms with guests so it feels very homely. Kate and Rick are incredibly friendly and hospitable and would certainly return for another stay in the future.

Beautiful surroundings and great hosts. From the moment we arrived we fell in love with the place. The rooms have a cute balcony overlooking the river. Kate and Rick are very nice hosts and persons. They go an extra mile to please the guests. You can feel that they like what they are doing. It looks natural and balanced the way they interact with guests. A beautiful karma that it is not easy to find in commercial places. We have booked our next stay!

We did not have time to do the walks as we were playing tennis in a tournament.

Rickaty on Blackwood is in a beautiful location, just a short drive (or even a riverside walk) out of town, set within gorgeous gardens overlooking the Blackwood River. The room was very comfortable, and Rick and Kate's breakfasts were amazing!

Nothing to complain about - we loved it!

Breakfast was lovely welcomed into the family home Enjoyed the large windows which allowed ays to watch the antics of her local birdlife.
