The food

The elevator is too loud. Feels like it’s gonna fall/break anytime soon. It seems too old. So scary

loud noise from engine room(maybe) for all night and can’t fall asleep

The hotel staff were super friendly. They upgraded our room at no charge, which allowed us to have another team member stay with us, who would have otherwise had to go home. It was very kind of them.

Price seems high for one night.

Nice quiet location, away from the highway. Even though Leslie Street was nearby, it was fairly quiet. Quick check in process, complimentary 24/7 tea and coffee in lobby, decor was up to date, nice breakfast seating area, lots of parking.

No option of non-feather pillows in room (both beds had the same type of pillows), very noisy elevator which reverberated down the hall (loud banging sound when doors opened and closed), no microwave in standard rooms (even though there is room for one), side doors to building did not have an auto open button (struggled to get luggage through the door).

breakfast was good - unfortunately they closed the doors exactly at 930am, i was still getting my food in the area when they closed the door

2 straight nights did not have towels; when we asked the front desk they provided us with face towels, difficult to shower with. only 1 elevator was in service, no COVID19 protocols were in place - more then 3 people in the elevator at one time

The Breakfast was great. The kids LOVED the pool.

It was very expensive. 280$ a night is crazy!

The breakfast had a nice variety and their pancake machine made EXCELLENT pancakes. The ac was super powerful which was great with the temperature in the 30s. The bed was comfortable and clean and we got extra pillows when we asked. The size of the room was great and the shower was amazing. Everything was very clean. This hotel is also close to a GO train station (a few minutes by car) which made going to downtown Toronto pretty easy.

There didn't seem to be ac outside the rooms and lobby so the hallways and elevators got really hot. Also one of the elevators was broken which left a single elevator for everyone trying to get to their rooms. It's a very tall and not very wide/long building so the elevator is a must for almost everyone (10 floors total). The pool was surprisingly small and shallow. Also it had some dirt and a clump of hair or two which wasn't super but also not so bad that we couldn't swim anyway.

Great service

The front desk staff was very nice and welcoming. We found it very impressive how she was there when we checked in (around 5PM) and still there when we checked out (around 10AM)! However, she could've definitely get some help as it seems that she was the only one doing all the work.

We stayed at this Holiday Inn for a night. The elevators weren't working both when we arrived and when we left. Also the toilet was very weak and got clogged. They didn't have a janitor on site at that time so we had to unclogged it ourself...

tried to get a hold of them too many times and they never got back to us!!!!
