the location of the property is nice & the staff were very kind and quick check in/out. the free breakfast @ white spot was a nice touch.

as soon as we entered the lobby it smelt badly of cigarette smoke, it appeared that the building was in need of quality repairs/Reno’s. the hall way to our suite smelt really badly as well as our room smelling like smoke mixed with air freshener or something. our toddler found chips all over underneath the bed & we found a pipe of some sort in the window sill. I did not complain to staff as it was late at night, I was very tired & after reading reviews it seemed to be a common occurrence in this hotel so I just bit my tongue this time. this is not a hotel for people who have the expectation of a clean & quality stay.

rude towards us, Front desk wasn't much help for us when we got there and we didn't even wanna bother anymore with them afterward.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and comfortable.

The fan outside my window was very noisy. The scrambled eggs were absolutely disgusting, we couldn't even eat them.

Windows need to be winterized! It was -24 while we were there so it wasn’t pleasant as it usually is.

Had a problem using the microwave. I found it would work when I jiggled the cord. I tried to use the plugin by the lamp. After I jiggled the x Cord it worked. You need to replace the plugs, they're worn out. This place is pretty dated. Unlike any Days Inn I've stayed in. Very pleasant front desk staff.

The bathroom sink was plugged and it was not cleaned. Someone had shaved and there was hair everywhere.

Free White Spot breakfast was great. Bed not bad. Ample free parking, in a fairly secure location.

Hotel was old, needed updating. But everything worked. Manager spent much time on phone making customers wait. Finding the hotel was a bit challenging, it is right in downtown Terrace, many similar buildings nearby.

Fact that when I made the reservation I indicated I required a pet friendly room, Once booked in, I went to request a second night and was informed it was not pet friendly. Confused as when I made initial reservation I received a confirmation number for a pet friendly room. Parking poorly managed. Vehicles parked in such a way that no one could exit parking lot at far end. Raised issue with staff and did nothing about it despite having license plates of two vehicles causing issue. Cleaned lobby late at night with dirty water and did not dry floor properly.
