Kathleen at the front desk was so welcoming upon arrival. We were provided two free drink tickets per person to use at the bar on the night of our arrival. We were able to check-in to our room early which was a huge help. Breakfast was free and had a huge variety. Location was close to the Fort Lauderdale Cruise Terminal. Beautiful view from our room of the cruise ships coming in. Plenty of elevators available. Beautiful lobby/waiting area.

Bathroom door in our room would get stuck. You had to use a lot of force to get it to open once you were in the bathroom. Our balcony door chain lock was not in working order - could be a hazard with small children. The egg/omelet station at breakfast was a little confusing. Some people waited at the end of the counter for their food to be finished, others waited at their table, and some thought it was self serve.

The first room I had smelled like mildew and cigarettes. We asked to switch rooms and the second room still smelled like mildew but not smoke. My family members rooms did not smell like that. We only stayed for one night so I didn’t want to switch again. Also, the dryer and washer were very very old and the dryer didn’t work. They refunded me the money though. Also, 35 dollars for parking is ridiculous.

Value for money, rooms with wallpaper pealing. Bathroom old. Bus to cruise terminal leaving over 45 minutes late. Happy hour advertised widely for 1.5 hours, nothing about 2 drinks only with tickets. Front guest staff brash and abrasive.

Convenient location

Needs some updating. It was way too costly, and the breakfast wasn’t good quality for the money.

The room was a little outdated. The furniture need to be replaced. I didn't get to the beach.

I didn't like being at the elevator. The eating area was too small. Not enough room. Then the water to take a shower did not get hot enough.

Close to the air port and cruise terminal

It is in bad need of an overhaul, carpets were old and dirty room was not clean throughly pant throughout was chipped and worn. We only encountered one staff member in the restaurant that wanted to do his job and one very friendly lady at breakfast that signed us up for the rewards the rest of the staff was curt not friendly and gave the impression that we were bothering them.

Very comfortable and esthetically pleasing, with covered atrium. We were only there overnight as we left on a cruise the next day, but the pool area was beautiful, and the hotel is close to everything. Breakfast was very good. Two free drinks each evening. Good place to kick back if staying longer.

We were allowed an early check in which was great! The buffet breakfast and evening happy hour are an extra perk to staying here. We usually stay here when we take a cruise as it is so close to Port Everglades. Staff is friendly and work hard to please. Great place to stay!

Love the location, the inside is very welcoming and lots of retail stores and restaurants near within walking distance.

The interior of the rooms are long overdue for a quality remodel.

Concept de la suite.

Hôtel vieillot. Propreté douteuse. Salle de bain avec robinetterie ayant fait son temps. Porte fenêtre fermant mal laissant passer tous les bruits de la rue.

Great breakfast. Lobby area nice, large and airy many places to rest and socialize.

Some areas not kept clean, Rooms are very tired. Beds are not more than large singles.

Staff wasn't friendly. Had issues with checking in. Had to cancel my room. And still haven't got my money back.

Staff wasn't able to fix my problem with payment. And they told me that the account department doesn't on weekend. So no one could help me. Had to cancel my reservation.

The rooms need work. Sofa bed was rusty and old and noisy spring breakers in other rooms

I liked the balcony

The room was horribly dated, the toilet didn't flush correctly, and way overpriced.

The breakfast is pretty good. There’s a Keurig in the room and it has an adorable little store.

It’s outdated, expensive, there’s mold in the sinks and the people are wicked rude! We were supposed to get a balcony with a table and chair. What we got was a Juliette balcony facing noisy traffic. Horns, sirens and racing bikes all night long. We switched rooms to a wet moldy floor and a broken sliding door that won’t open. At least the plaza side isn’t as noisy.

It was a beautiful building inside and out. Very comfortable and nice view of the city. Close to restaurants and plentiful shopping.

We breakfast ends too soon, I had just driven 15 hours the night we arrived so I woke up just after breakfast had finished.

Front desk lady, Carol (Christmas Carol) was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable.

Old, smelly, dated, dark rooms and hallways.

The location close to the pier for a cruise was excellent. Quick shuttle service made it easy (for an extra charge). The breakfast (included for free) was great. Good selection and quality. The size of the rooms was also quite nice.

The rooms were quite dated. It wasn't the worst, but these are not new rooms.

The design of the hotel is a site to see.

The decor of the rooms are very dark and dated.

The rooms were very spacious, and the property had some nice features like a grand lobby with plenty of seating, a nice outdoor pool area, including a Koi pond also a restaurant and bar on site.

The only thing I could recommend for the property is some refreshing and possibly some redecorating. The rooms are fine but some of the wood furniture was getting damaged. Need some refinishing. The lobby area is a bit dark and looks like it could use some new color and maybe some cleaning of the plants or new plants.

Rooms are old, need tlc, beds are unconfortable, noise during the night with trucks offloading in the shopping center in the back is horrible, impossible to sleep, they need to fix the windows to avoid that noise

Get rid of popcorn ceilings and paint rooms a lighter color. Very drab…

Some Staff were not friendly nor helpful few towels asked for accessible room, it was not musty smell in room, old furniture and rugs, rooms need major update

Hotel was clean and beautiful.

There were bees outside our balcony and we could not use. Staff at the the “e lounge” were not super friendly. Mainly the men.
