Customer service was excellent. We had to leave before breakfast so they made us up a package to eat in the morning. Also had washer and dryer.

Good location in easy walking distance to Neptune Theatre etc and on the bus route. Room key unlocks the front door.

Breakfast isn't available until 8am so I had to grab a muffin and go. My room was quiet, but the door lets in light from the hallway so I assume that it could be noisy

Small, quiet and clean. Perfect place for us to have a staycation while exploring downtown on foot. friendly staff and good breakfast, we’ve booked again for future.

The location is stellar, and the front desk staff was wonderful (especially the assistants; less so the manager).

I was moved from one room to another (thankfully!) after spending one night awake due to a loud guest across the hall and a machine noise above me that started around 11pm and stayed on all night (was so loud it sounded as though a helicopter was landing on the ceiling right above my head). In the first room, I received a notice that the heat would be off from 10am - 4pm and people would be coming in to work on it and I should probably just not be there during those hours. In the second room, they came in to work on the radiator while I was in the middle of an online class. Thereafter, the room was extremely hot the remainder of my stay. The breakfast consisted mostly of cereal and hardboiled eggs (I was grateful for the eggs). When I tried to go in a couple minutes prior to 8am to just get coffee, the manager was quite unfriendly telling me it wasn't time. The bed and chairs in the second room were literally falling apart. They put me in that room because the third floor is much quieter than the second; for that, I am very grateful. Still, I was way overcharged given the quality of furnishings, hospitality, and everything else.

The location was perfect- near stores, restaurants, the harbor.

Excellent position easy walking distance to spring Garden Road , hospital and parks. Beautiful house and spotless, it sparkles. Staff are friendly and helpful and make you feel really welcome. We have been before and will be back.

We can't complain about anything.

The inn is beautiful and well maintained. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and the staff was very friendly! I would recommend it to anyone I know without hesitation and definitely plan to stay here the next time we're in Halifax.

Location and price

First time a place took a security deposit from me in years. I'm not exactly sure why 200 dollars was taken from my credit card. I'll be monitoring my statement carefully.

The location is amazing. You can go walking to Citadel, Maritime museum, Museum of immigrant, Waterfront and other places. The room and the areas were very clean. Staff super kind. The room was very comfortable and beautiful.

Breakfast would be a bit better. No warm eggs, bacon, cheese, maple syrup or pancakes. Despites the staff were very kind, the dishes were clean, the food was not very nice.

Great Location! Our room was lovely - clean, comfortable and well appointed. Included breakfast had a good variety of selections including hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, muffins, bagels as well other options. Paul who welcomed us was helpful at every turn. Will be back.

The two A/c’s in the room did not work and it was hot and uncomfortable all night.

Parking is available but they can't guarantee it. Without it, the stay would have been difficult. Breakfast is very adequate. The location is perfect, walking distance to the Boardwalk and downtown attractions. Nearby Public Gardens and French Restaurant was a plus.

Afternoon host seemed to be a little overly aggressive about dealing with us.

The inn is a grand old lady who is starting to show her age.

The B&B was very acceptable in an interesting area. Parking was across the street. The location was good with about 12 minute walk to Halifax waterfront.

This was clean and has been renovated. There is a office room with a printer that you can print your flight tickets if needed.

The parking is in the hospital parking lot. You are paying hospital rates to park a vehicle or parking several blocks away. The bed was a queen bed by the headboard but the mattress has been downgraded to a cheap double bed mattress that was not comfortable to sleep on.
