There is a road between the lake and the shelter,I would not even call it cottage

You only find out there is no cancellation policy after the payment, extra charge for my cat to stay for 2 nights, but we did not even stay for 1 night. We only stayed there for 2 hours, they would not refund my cat’s money

The location was awesome with nice view

High price compared to the facilities. There was no water for almost 2 hours when we arrived.

It does not include breakfast service but it provides a small kitchen so you can cook by yourself. It also has BBQ outside. The location is next to the Elephant lake; The view to the lake is quite nice. You may also rent a boat at the resort. The staffs are friendly and welcoming by my experience.

The facility is relatively old. It does not have Wi-Fi. Regular mobile netowrk service may lose signals in this area. You need bring your own sleeping bag or you need pay extra for the linen.

The cottage has a unbeatable view of fall colour. Hostess is very friendly and helpful

We had a amazing time at Silver Springs Resort! Dana and George were so kind and helpful couldn’t ask for better service. The cottage we stayed in was so cozy and nice the property was beautiful and well taken care of. Highly recommend 👍

The location is amazing which is just off Elephant lake. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The outdoor bbq met the expectation and was up to the mark. All utensils and appliances were clean as expected.

The indoor fire place should have been working or the heating in the cottage should have been working. The temperature during one of the night dropped dramatically and made it very cold to sleep.

Dana is very nice and her staff, very accomodating.

Beautiful view close to the lake very friendly hosts and helpful with giving fishing tips and where to go in the lake to catch certain species very quiet and rustic

Not very big. High price.

The best part of this property is the view of Elephant Lake. We were there in the fall with full colours, beautiful. Its also very quiet. They had a nice usable waterfront across the road too. Beach is small, sandy at the shore but it gets pretty mushy quick. Cottages are cute if small, very much a step back in time.

Not much in the way of comfort. Bed is pretty utility grade and bedding is pretty ineffective too for staying warm. Biggest issue was the surprise visitor at 4:30am. It is very quiet here so you hear every noise. I heard all this scratching. My wife managed to sleep through it so i did my best to investigate quietly. It turned out there was vole trying to dig through the carpet behind the tv stand. He kept alternating to under the bed. Finally the sun came up at 6:45am and the vole moved to a spot where i could reach him. I caught him in a glass vase and through him out. 4 hours of sleep was rough but i couldn't get back to sleep after all that. Rough night in general. No idea how he got in but as a blind animal, its very hard to find your way back out.

Beautiful location. Views of the lake from your deck. Peaceful and Quiet and Would definitely be going back.
