Das Motel 6 war das günstigste Hotel/Motel welches wir Ende Juli in der Nähe des Yosemite Nationalparks finden konnten. Mammuth Lake ist im Winter sicher exorbitant teuer, im Sommer aber ruhig und nett. Motel 6 ist halt Motel 6 (when you close your eyes you can't see any difference between Motel 6 and much more expensive Hotels.....) aber immerhin gab es freundliches Personal, auf Nachfrage einen Haartrockner und morgens auch ordentlichen Kaffee. Das Zimmer war im Vergleich zu anderen Motels kleiner, aber sauber und in gutem Zustand.
Sicher eines der besseren Motel 6, daher gilt wie immer: you get what you pay for.

Room was nice and clean and well presented. They even “left the light on” which was cool. Mattress is tired saggy right where you sent time to rotate it. Flip it or get a new one. Other than that not bad.
Mattress. As I mentioned up above, it was old and sunken where you sit down and get in. But well presented and very nice. TV got with that thing from the 90s ha ha.

Clean and quite room. Room was updated and felt cosy. I was impressed with the quality of the room for the price I paid. I will return when I am in the area of Mammoth Lakes.

No particular points that I appreciated. Just Needed a bed. But even that was not that comfortable.
Found the Rooms very small. The bed were not that comfortable. One room had fridge with refrigerator the other just a fridge. Could all have been fine but not for the price I paid.

Staff person Jeremy was a big help getting us into a room that didn’t require climbing stairs. Our dog was afraid of the stairs.

The hotel was easy to find. It provided in room coffee.
My initial thought was the location of room, up front noisy. The toilet seat was broken. There were bugs. Beetles I think.

The rooms where big enough, clean enough and the facilities match the category of the motel.
The internet is ok, the facilities, like coffee and microwave are pleasant.
The staff is mostly disconnected and more engaged with other stuff than in dealing with customers. Sometimes they gave the feeling that I should be glad to interact with them. Not all staff, but especially the lady that checked us in, needs some training in customer friendliness or should switch jobs.
