Took about 15 minutes to get hot water at the shower in am

The staff and Bob who guided our two complimentary tours were knowledgeable and helpful. The lodge is beautiful and the setting idyllic. We will return.

There were issues with the room (toilet…) which were taken care of but inconvenient and unexpected. The breakfast was not at all worth the price.

the location is gorgeous. staff were very friendly and attentive. we were there for our daughter’s wedding which they handled very well.

we were there in a record cold snap with wind chills of -37, so this isn’t all their fault but we were unable to heat our room above 65. our daughter’s room wouldn’t get above 55 degrees inside. their room had two exterior doors that were in disrepair and leaking lots of air. Trapp Family Lodge is certainly living on the Trapp legacy, but there are signs of disrepair throughout. They need to invest in some significant maintenance and upkeep improvements.

food is great and the view is awesome. The restaurant serves are amazing, and much better than the front desk.

Most of the equipments are old, though they keeps the tradition. It is better to offer late check out. Front desk services need to be improved.

Big rooms. Clean.

No cheesecake for two days in restaurant. Some wait staff were not very friendly. No Von Trapp history talk on Wednesday.

Loved everything they thought it was slightly pricey

The location was very nice. It has a beautiful view of the mountains. It is also very accessible.

Beautiful accommodations and great location cannot compensate for the inhospitable treatment we received; staff was efficient but frosty from the moment we checked-in.

Inhospitable treatment: #1 - Twice they were "too busy" to sell us meals for take out. They refused to take an order of children's meals for our toddlers dinner 2 out of 3 days of our stay #2 - Poor value: No room service, fees for everything including on-site tours, and stingy with replenishments #3 - General unfriendly and apathetic attitude from most of the staff we encountered; seems that because they already got your money upfront there's minimal effort to make your stay great despite what they say. Actions speak louder than words.
