Very quaint hotel in a great location. The staff was amazing, very accommodating, and friendly.

The hotel hair dryer is terrible, so bring your own, but this is the only negative comment I have!

Loved all the amenities and properties we could use. Location was perfect and walkable. Felt safe and when we had an issue it was fixed immediately!

Quieter end of the city but still has plenty of food and entertainment options. Larger room with a balcony was a pleasant surprise. both pools were very clean and the staff was accommodating.

Some things missing from the room you’d expect to find but I believe it’s an isolated occurrence.

location- close to beach, shops and restaurants. they let us check out an hour late so we don’t have to wait for the cruise ship check in location.

check in location was different from the booking information. we had to walk around the property to find where is the office to check in after a taxi dropped us off at the address with 4 suits cases. I wish they informed us in advance.

Our only comment was we had the room right on the Main Street. There were no problems at all with the room but being by the entrance/office and fronting on the street, we had to keep curtain closed.

The location and the vibe of Aqua Hotel are truly wonderful, as is the customer service! Maggie who manages the front desk has such a warm and welcoming energy about her, and you can tell she really enjoys working with people. She and her colleagues were very kind and attentive throughout my stay. Maggie also went above and beyond helping me with something I was unable to do in person — I needed a suitcase shipped and Maggie was exceptionally helpful. Thank you so much, Maggie, for alleviating my worries and making it happen! I also want to mention that the hotel is located just steps from the ocean, yet, it’s hidden from the hustle and bustle of the main avenue (N Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd) behind two big hotels—Four Seasons and Hilton. One of my favorite things about the property is that it has a gorgeous quiet courtyard where I spent a lot of time in the evening—eating, reading, listening to nature. It’s got tables, lounge chairs and strings of tree lights—it’s beautiful and super peaceful! Aqua Hotel retains that old Florida charm and character you don’t get in chain hotels. My room and the bathroom were spotless. The hotel provides fresh bath and beach towels (free of charge) every day, which is lovely! Lots of places to eat and a CVS are just a short walk away, one of my favorite spots, the G&B Oyster bar, is a 15-minute walk from the hotel. There’s also a Starbucks about four blocks away. I am definitely coming back to stay here on my next trip to Fort Lauderdale! Thank you for a lovely, relaxing, and memorable experience!
