Place is a bit outdated and could benefit a bit of love.

The room was clean and quiet. The staff was very nice. The breakfast was very good, the young waitress was efficient. Near the Hautes-Gorges park. Affordable stay.

The mattress was uncomfortable. No curtains in the room, too much light in the morning so we wake up at 5:30 am

Its proximity to the Parc National des Hautes Gorges, about 15 km past the Auberge on a good, hilly two-lane highway ending at the park’s entrance. On the up-side, the Auberge is simple but clean and serves astonishingly good food, both dinner and breakfast. Fine cuisine that can compete with the best! Thank you, Sarah, for friendly and competent table service! Do not forget to reserve dinner in advance as you may regret it. You may also prefer to reserve room #5 to #10 as they were way nicer than ours, some with small balcony. Beware of nasty insects! As to our room, well, we occupied room #1 right off the common area where clients meet and watch TV. A bit loud and we had to walk through it to reach our room. The Queen-size bed was comfortable enough but there was only one simple chair and a tiny table. The room is carpeted, with very simple decor, all looking very dated. in short, we wouldn’t return for that room but certainly for the fine dining experience.

The accommodations are basic, but very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding, and the friendliness and genuine hospitality were greatly appreciated. Very fair value for the money and would definitely stay here again.

The surroundings and landscaping are attractive and the decor is nice in a rustic style. The staff is very nice and the breakfast was excellent.

Although we had booked three nights we left after one night due to the discomfort of the bed and generally poor condition of the room. The “classic queen” is a small, shabby, and dark room. The bed was so uncomfortable that we could sleep only fitfully. The room has no closet, dresser, or shelves, only a small armoire with three or four hangers, so it was not possible to unpack. The bathroom has no towel bar. We would gladly have switched rooms and stayed on but no other rooms were available. It is very likely that other rooms, which have balconies, are better.

The two awesome things about this place: 1- super close to the park 2- really good breakfast

The price This place is simply an overpriced motel. At most it should be 100$ all in The place is dated and in below average state of repair/maintenance

Excellent location near the Haute Gorge Park. Fantastic meals. We were the only ones dining but we were given a menu with choice of appetizers, main courses and desserts. The meals were so delicious and beautifully presented. We stayed 2 nights and chose different items each night and loved them all. They were the best meals on our week long trip in Quebec. Breakfast was also superb. The host and hostess were friendly, attentive and gave great service. There was no desk lamp and they provided one when I asked for it.

The room (we stayed in a quadruple) felt like a totally adequate standard motel room (box-shaped room with 1 window that doesnt open, good beds, no where to be outside if it rains), but the breakfast was excellent. So depends on how much you care about room vs breakfast.
