TYPICALLY staying at a Holiday Inn/Holiday Inn Express is a "safe" bet...not this time though.

Let's see 1) did not have my Booking.com reservation in its system, 2) the shower/tub lever fell off in my hand, 3) the in-room telephone didn't work (there was no plug into the wall), 3) power outage from 10PM-11:30PM, 4) emergency lighting in 5th floor hallway did not work (fire safety code violation)

The front desk and restaurant staff were very pleasant and helpfull.

The hotel is aging poorly. The furniture in the room, in particular, the desk chair was in very poor condition. The wall paper was from the 70's. Towels were very small. Hallways are in need of sprucing up. The property is not well maintained. The equipment in the exercise room was almost all out of service or in bad condition. Very disappointed.

Staff was friendly

This place needs an update. The decor is so drab. The bed ruffles had holes in them and the arms were worn away on the chair in the room.

The four wheels of our 2022 Toyota forerunner got stolen in the parking lot of the hotel. Total damage to the suv was more than $18,000. Hotel got no security cameras outside. Hope there will be changes for more security.

everything was outdated the bed sheet n pillowcases were stained

The staff were very nice. The bed was extremely comfortable . The food at the sports bar was great.

Getting back from the casino using the shuttle bus it wasn't clear which one was for the holiday inn. There were some there at the pick up point that were similar. So I ended up taking an uber because I wasn't sure when the shuttle bus was going to get there or if it arrived and I just missed it. But it wasn't a big enough downer to ruin the experience of the stay.

unfortunately our bathroom was pretty gross and not clean and our floor was not vacuumed.

We had double queen beds one of them was broken, fortunetly we only needed one bed.

The staff was friendly and helpful and the shuttle was useful.

The room we were placed in was next to an extremely loud and old elevator that did not allow for my wife and I to sleep at all. Also, our car was severely dented and scratched in the hotel parking lot.

I love the location and the food the hotel offers.

The bathroom looked like it was only barely cleaned you could see the streaks of a cleaning rag on the black bathroom sink/counter. There was no lip on the shower so water went everywhere when trying to shower. There was a chair in the bathroom when we got there we ended up using it to put things on as there was also no cabinet or place to put anything in the bathroom. There was also one roll of toilet paper that was already used and was only folded at the end not replaced. we later where told by the hotel that because we booked through booking.com we were put into a handicap room. I don’t get why and if this is a common issue with booking.com why the hotel hasn’t resolved this. Overall we were kinda disappointed the hotel staff are very nice and the hotel food was nice but the inconveniences were quite annoying to work around.

It was close to my grand daughters house so later in day on Thanksgiving I checked in so I didn't have to drive home in dark. Room was great. Had breakfast at restaurant( delicious) and then on my way.

The location was good, as we were close to family and downtown Mystic.

We were missing basic anemities, such as a blow dryer. We booked 2 rooms and neither had this item (a staple for all hotels). We were also missing all the basic toiletries in one room. The second room was missing some toiletries. The cleanliness was ok but I noticed a ring in the toilet bowl- not good. Didn't know if it was a stain or not. For the amount of money paid (close to $500 for 2 basic rooms), it should have been much better quality.
