Hotel is conviently situated close to the Airport and there is free transportation provided by hotel every 30 min. in walking distance 10 mi is subway station
The area around hotel is save.
Rooms are specious and clean.
Bedsheets are very soft and beds mattresses.
Hotel should inform on booking that some rooms are situated in basement with very little window. The standard is the same as other rooms but there is less sunlight.
Breakfast is very poor for European standards. Cutlery is plastic and plates are paper 👀
There is no scramble eggs , no raw ham or cheese, no raw vegetables. I read on booking.com opinions about good breakfast… and maybe is good for Americans. For European taste of food is completely distasteful.
Generally speaking in US in every caffe is impossible to drink coffee in Cup of coffee only in .paper cup.
It was misunderstanding the staff of reception who charged me unfairly for 2 nights parking instead of 1 night. I had to inform booking.com support to help me and they did it quickly.
So , in such situation booking.com you can count on them. I tried to find email to the hotel directly but it was impossible so it is safe for customers have support from Booking in unexpected circumstances where I could loose 30 usd for unfair reception decision.

Every time we fly to New York we stay here. Wanted to stay when we came back on Aug 27th but was all booked so we went to Marriott Flushing. I can say that both Flushing & Astoria are the most convenient & helpful places to stay.

We booked for 1 night before our flight from La Guardia Airport next day. Free shuttle to Airport. Breakfast included. Comfortable bed. Room condition and cleaniness is ok.
Breakfast nothing healthy and served on paper plate. Lot of trash generated.Not sustainable at all.

Clean, new and comfortable. Great breakfast and a fridge and microwave in the room. Nice and helpful staff.
No real dislikes. It is a city property so what we expected (small room and no view). We were able to get parking even though there was limited space.

a bit lean on amenities. noisy guests at 3 am. a/c seemed to shut off in the middle of the night - that seems to be common with these chains.

Room was clean and comfortable and updated. Breakfast was great. Location was very good with walking distance to subway and bus and stainway st is at walking distance and full of great and reasonable dining options. Free shuttle service is an added attraction. Only bad point we experienced was the Manager (african american) on Feb 17 morning who had no curtesy at all and had totally unwelcome attitude towards guest. We requested a room change from basement to upper level which other staff as well as supervisor happily agreed and were moving us but this manager came and stopped the process explaining (in contradiction to rest of his staff and supervisor) that no rooms are vacant, and he will try his best. It was so obvious that he meant 'shut up and leave'. We never got an upper level room in our 6 days stay :(

Free breakfast is convenient. Room is clean. Bathroom is renovated well. I have all I need, including a fridge, a microwave, a coffee brewer, a hair drier, a shower cap, and the toothpaste(forgot to bring my own).

they picked me quickly at midnight since they no shuttle, they called uber as alternate. they are friendly and reliable . the breakfast is nice.
