I liked the location and it was convenient for what I needed. I did not eat breakfast there.
They were doing work on the elevator so that wasn't always convenient.

Was put in dirty uncleaned room , was not offered by hotel to be moved to a clean room but was told the next day ourroom would be cleaned & 3,000 bonus points plave back to my account . No points was received like i was told .

The breakfast was ok just which they had waffles. The locations of the hotel was great it was around alot of good things.

CARELESS WITH PERSONAL INFORMATION!
When I approached the front desk, I noticed a sheet of paper next to the computer; as I looked closer, I noticed it was my booking information, full name, phone number, and email address. I questioned the front desk personnel about the issue she said it was for the hotel's purposes; then I had to inform her that it was in plain sight for anyone to see, so she flipped the paper over. I told her to destroy the information because, in today's world, anyone could have seen my information and used it for identity theft.
I don’t know how many people who may had the opportunity to view my personal information before I walked to the front desk to check out. I was VERY UPSET about that issue.

The room was equiped with a few ammenity's (microwave, fridge, and cabinets) that helped our 4 day stay. That allowed us to bring snacks to our room so that we didn't have to purchase a lot of restaurant food.
The next day after arriving at hotel, we were out doing some shopping for a few hours. We left about 9:50 am and returned about 2:00pm and our room had not been cleaned. We talked to the person at front desk and they explained about the amount of rooms that needed cleaning but they would be coming around soon. I then informed the person at front desk that we needed to get ready for a celebration in a few hours and needed to clean up. She asked if I would like to get towels at that time but I said we would need someone to empty the garbage also. She then asked if I would like her to call someone and I said yes. The person she called came to replenish supplies and empty the garbage with in about 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours. And we didn't have that problem the rest of our stay.

Room was really nice as was the whole hotel. Staff were all nice and very accommodating. Offered more towels and asked if the could help with anything everytime we saw one of them. Pool was great for the kids.
Wish breakfast would have been included. Hot water ran out quickly.

The nighttime front desk staff (Jackie) was extremely unprofessional. She called to tell us the room we booked was no longer available, did not offer any other solutions or help us otherwise. As a family of 2 adults and a teenager, we were stuck with one bed. When we went up to our room, we found that she gave us the key to someone else’s room! We then went back down to the front desk to let her know and express our concerns over security, she threatened to cancel our reservation because “I can cancel you anytime and don’t have to have a reason”. This was an obvious attempt to cover up her extremely egregious error. When asked if there was someone else to talk to, she told us “management doesn’t talk to guests”. After multiple threats to cancel our reservation, she finally gave us the correct room key. After about 2 minutes in the room, she calls up and has miraculously found a 2nd king room that she would give us at no charge. Again, an obvious attempt to cover up her mistake. The new room was not clean. Fake fingernails on the floor, toilet was used and not flushed. I have never experienced such a lack of professionalism and hostility from a customer service representative, not even including the very serious security issues created when giving out keys to another guest’s room. I will never stay at this particular hotel again.

the location that’s all I like about it.
when I checked in the white lady that worked the night of 3/3/23 was rude and was talk to other customers with her smart ass comments and was getting mad because I asked for new covers and new pillowcases because they had make up on them. when I told her about a dirty towel that was hanging up in my supposed to be clean bathroom she was talking to me like it wasn’t dirty until I showed her a picture of the towel. Then proceeded to ask me if I could bring her the dirty towel. When I went back in the lobby, she was on the phone with a customer and was being so nasty and so rude and tell him what she wouldn’t do and what she wasn’t going to do. I waited til she got off the phone and was like I didn’t feel comfortable bringing someone else’s dirty towel, she was trying to make it seem like the room is clean before I got there in now it’s dirty. I had only been there for less then 10 minutes and then told me it just seems like I’m unhappy and if I’m unhappy, she will gladly check me out. She didn’t try to offer us a new room nor did She try to come and check on the room. She basically made me feel like, because it wasn’t at my standard of cleanliness, I could get out. Then she checked me out and gave my room to someone else while I was still there. No hospitality, no professionalism, no remorse and no kindness. I would not recommend anyone to stay there.

Key didn't work. Ac couldn't be adjusted. Booked a double but got a king suite. The pull out bed was uncomfortable. No sheets were on the bed.

The only thing we didn't like is, before we took a shower it was left over hair in the tub and of course we cleaned it before we proceeded. Please make sure your staff checks behind themselves when cleaning the bathroom.

The breakfast set up and presentation was wonderful. Ms. Caroline was very friendly and professional. I told her I was only there because my a/c in my house went out. I would definitely recommend because of the breakfast presentation. Thanks Ms. Caroline.

1) Staff Biased AGAINST 3rd party purchase.
a) Request made for early checkin, was really ignored, and not acknowledged untill I got there. Agent says, "We didn't get any request.... Oh there it is. Well we don't have any rooms ready any ways. Sorry see you at 3 pm." Get there at 2:55. WALKIN-IN was issued a room, and was finishing up. I was next, "Let me see if any rooms are ready... " said agent. She said let me check, and left.... said that there would be a wait time. I went back to my car. 30 Min later, went back, and she did the same thing. She left to go all the way to the room to get line of sight. There has to be a better way for staff communication.
- To sum it up: Was LIED TO..........Then First PRE-PAID IN FULL ROOM NOT READY UNTILL 3:30pm, Next PREPAID Room (325) NOT READY UNTIL 4:05 pm.
**Not that anyone cares, but I went to the Cedar Hills Area for a family wedding that started at 4:30pm, and we where suppose to be there at 2:30pm.
b) Previously they sent me an email that said, "What you requested can't be arranged ahead of time but Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Cedar Hill, an IHG Hotel said they'll do their best to accommodate you on arrival." Sounds hopefull... BUT THIS WAS NOT TRUTHFULL. THEY DO NOT ACCOMODATE EARLY CHECK-INS AT ALL!!!! ... UNLESS YOU ARE A "Member", It is one of there rewards benefits. HAD I KNOW THAT, WOULD OF CANCELLED IMMEDIATELY, WITH ENOUGH TIME TO GO ELSEWHERE. Email received Wednesday. Check-in was Saturday
c) At 9am Sunday, requested late check out. They said that is available to reward members only.
2) Staff not organized. No Radios or check status... manager had to leave her post continuously.
3) Broken missing items in room. My room had a busted ironing board. The other room had a missing Iron.
4) Pool malfunctioning: Only one filtration pump pipe circulating water in main pool. The rest of the water was stagnent.
