The room was clean. It had enough towels, soap, cups, etc.

The reception was unfriendly. Nothing was explained to me. The property charged an unexpected room deposit for incidentals, which exceeded my credit card limit. I had to use my bank card, and the receptionist didn’t know how to use a separate card for the charge. A manager came over to help with the transaction. Afterwards, the receptionist gave me the room cards and told me to park on the other side of the building. No mention of an onsite restaurant ( which I understood there was one) or WI-FI password. She seemed to resent that I needed to use a separate card. Not friendly or helpful whatsoever. Maybe she was having a bad day. The bed and pillows weren’t comfortable either. Bed was hard, pillows were flat even though there were two of them.

My room was nice and clean and the check in was super fast

It had a little smell and the elevator was to far away from the check in desk

I booked through "booking.com" Despite the fact that I had a confirmation number, when I arrived the Marriott had no record of my reservation. It took 30 minutes before I could get a room.
