Loved the central and easy to get to location! It was a perfect home base for all of our adventures.

I missed my pillows and sheets. But the king sized bed was comfortable. I did wish the bedding were a bit nicer.

There were no microwaves in the rooms and the microwave in the common area was filthy.

No hot water Monday am. Lukewarm after 10 min. Had to go to the kitchen to find a place open to eat. Overpriced pasta dish - $20 - and only a piece of bread with dish. Overpriced parking at $30. No glass or plastic cups in room. Housekeeping had nothing to offer. Had to use a paper cup for a drink! Clerk had nothing to say when I told him I had no hot water - just looked down at his computer.

Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff. Shreyas checked us in was very accommodating and helpful. Easy to access many activities and beautiful views of the Ohio river

They were working on the elevator from the parking garage (not much they can do to control that)but they allowed us to unload at front door then park

Everything was fine the hotel is very close to a lot of restaurants and things to do which makes it nice. The hotel was clean and the hotel staff was nice. The restaurant the swizzler which was in the hotel the food was excellent!!! We loved it!

I think the hotel was a little over priced and the parking was high ! It seems all hotels now a days add little extra cost to their rooms making your stay for a room about 235.00 to 250.00 a night for one night!

Parking

We went to a concert at the YUM center so the location couldn’t have been better!

We had to call the front desk at 2 am because our toilet starting spewing water onto the floor and making a loud noise that woke us all up. We called the front desk and she said they were sending someone-nobody ever showed up. We got no sleep.

Nice location. Clean. Fun bars.

When I checked in I couldn’t understand a word the front counter man was saying. I kept saying I’m sorry? I don’t understand you. I had no idea where to go, what the parking thing was, where our room was, etc. The girl next to him finally started telling me all the info. Saw two people shooting up a block away. When we pulled out to leave a homeless man started swearing at us for no reason. We blame the government, not you. 😀

The whole experience was great. The room was spacious, and there was a great view of the skyline and river. The bathroom was very clean. The hotel offered several upscale bars, restaurants, and shopping, and was very close to downtown amenities.

Price of parking overnight in the garage. Parking itself, was quite convenient outside of the price.

I had stayed at the Galt House Hotel almost 20 years ago, I was in town for a church conference. I remembered how regal and impressive the hotel was and I wanted my family to experience it. And they did we had a wonderful time in the city and visiting family in IN.

The front desk concierge was not friendly at all. He didn't seem as though he wanted to check me in; a African American female. He over stated the daily parking rate as if I wasn't aware of the expenses I would incur while at the hotel for the weekend. I expected better. Overall my stay was pleasant and my family enjoyed themselves. I would definitely stay again despite the cold shoulder from the front desk. Our room was very nice and clean. On our next visit I would prefer a view of the river front. The weather was perfect for our planned outdoors events and sightseeing, there was rain earlier in the week. I loved the variety the hotel offered for eating and the gift shop items were not overly priced.

Room was nice and big, the shower was lovely, the location was perfect and walking distance to a lot different things, the bed was soft and comfy! Loved that the pool overlooked the river! Staff were really friendly, food at the hotel was amazing!

The only thing: There was a wet spot at the end of our bed on the floor, that never dried during the duration of our stay. Unsure what it was from, but it wasn't too big of a deal to us. We kept forgetting about it. Also, there wasn't the greatest directions on where to park for the hotel, so we just parked in a parking garage, and we got lucky that it was attached to the hotel! Other than that, everything was great!

Roger with customer service was amazing! I called to see if my husband could check in without me, and he exceeded my expectations by asking if I had any floor preferences and getting me a wonderful room! He was so amazing and kind! It was a breath of fresh air!

beautiful, comfortable, quiet room with a lovely view of the Ohio River, plush bed and pillows, helpful staff and incredible onsite restaurants - bourbon is spectacular, if you enjoy a finger or two of fine bourbon. Highly recommend for families & romantic getaways. Louisville Slugger nearby for classic baseball bats & several distilleries to tour. Hotel has a covered walkway to KFC Yum! center (if you're big on KFC). Dined at Swizzle & LOVED the food & service. Just a lovely hotel!
