Breakfast was excellent. Close to rooms and very tasty. The rooms were economically priced, walking distance to downtown restaurants , stores and parks. The room accommodations were adequate. The furniture was dated but had everything we needed. The motel is under new ownership and modernization projects are under way. The more modern hotels downtown are priced 2-3 times more. This location answered all our needs. I would definitely stay again especially after modernization is finished.
Needs update. Rooms are adequate size but too much furniture.

Don't let the price scare you away! This was a cute little place, yes it was dated but we knew that going into it. We really didn't expect too much for the price and our expectations were exceeded. When we arrive we were given a little goody bag with brochures for local businesses, and a bag of popcorn and mints. No breakfast isn't "included" but we were also given breakfast vouchers for the coffee shop next door good for a free coffee and pastry of choice for each of us. We would definitely stay here again.
Besides it being dated (which we knew before we booked) and I understand renovations are in the future, there really isn't anything we didn't like

Breakfasts of excellent coffee and fresh baked pastries can't be beat. The pool was exceptionally clean. The location was convenient for biking, walking, and it was quiet.

Was out dated. But is under new management and they knew it needed upgrades which will be happening this fall. Parking is a bit crowded as well.

Location and value.
Water leaking from AC onto the carpet had the carpet wet. Fridge was unplugged but door kept closed so it was a bad smell.

I liked the staff they were friendly. The bakery they give vouchers for is AMAZING!! It's owned by the new owners wife. The pool is nice.
The room is very outdated. Was dark and it WAS NOT CLEANED PROPERLY!! It needs a good thorough cleaning service. The drapes were dirty looking and the floors were not properly cleaned. Found a few pennies on carpet and the bathroom floor was not very clean. The shades and bed headboards were dusty etc... OWNERS NEED TO MAKE SURE STAFF ARE CLEANING ROOMS PROPERLY and not just charging bed linen and towels. BUT THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE RENOVATING IN THE FALL.

AC worked well. Beds moderately comfortable. Location in downtown Chincoteague convenient.
They said they are getting ready to renovate, and it can’t come too soon. Very old, shabby furnishings in very small room. Our room was 409 and the lights flickered constantly as if there was a short, the tub dripped.

The property was clean and the quiet clean sheets  the staff was absolutely  professionals
The door look like it wasn’t safe it didn’t have but one deadbolt and it look like it had been kicked the end and at night time I put a chair up to the door because I didn’t feel safe. You could actually see through the door at the corner outside.

We love the location, the value...and they must have replaced the mattresses because WOW are the beds comfy!! We love Annie the Island Kitty, she is a welcome new addition.
We had to ask that the bedding on one bed be swapped out because it was smelly I get it though it's the start of the season that room may have been unused for awhile. The bedding was changed and there were no further issues.

The location was nice and the owner clerk was very friendly. It was very cheap.
The place was very outdated and dingy. The bathroom was old and disgusting and there was big black bug crawling up the wall. The bed was hard. Luckily I traveled alone. Couldn’t have stayed there with my kids

Everything, the bed was uncomfortable and sheets kept coming off. There was mold on the caulking. Very poorly set up. The tv channels didn't work.

Small, cold room with dripping bathtub faucet....very slow to get hot water at bathroom sink, no heat in bathroom and no fan in there either

Stayed for the night to see the island. Happy to find a deal like this. Did not stay for breakfast.

location was perfect! I liked having access to my own door outside
outdated, water pressure in shower is not ideal, the toilet kept clogging and there was no plunger.
