We stopped at the half way point of our trip back home from Tennessee. Everything was great.

The front desk people were very accommodating. The breakfast was very plentiful. The check out time gave us time not to rush in the morning.

Great stay

Comfortable and friendly environment

Clean room, nice breakfast, comfortable beds, extremely friendly staff

Pool was closed and was not told ahead of time 2nd floor has a weight room and sign says vending as well. There is no vending. We saw it on the way out and it's on first floor. To bad we saw that so late.

You may not get what you booked...

Breakfast was very good.

We booked a King room at this hotel because we wanted a King room. Upon arrival we were told there were no King rooms available! The staff seemed to think this was perfectly fine as they said "we cannot give you something we don't have". True, but they can SELL you something they don't have, clearly... After check-in, even their own Holiday Inn web site still advertised a King room as available when it was not the case. I call this "Bait and switch". Staff did not think this was a problem and management declined any compensation. It appears their policy is to never offer compensation when rooms are booked through third parties (like Booking). Therefore, if you book this hotel, the agreement is one-way only. You still have to honor your side of the deal (pay the room purchased as "non-refundable"), but they can honor their side or not (provide the King room booked). First time ever in 15 years of travel we have been treated this way.

Was there for an event at the Backseat Event Center. was to have a speical rate and did not get it.

Very nice accommodations.

I was charged a rate higher than others. As much as $50.00 more by going thru Booking.com.

Comfortable accommodation

Very nice and clean accommodation, our room was well equipped (fridge, microwave, coffee machine), with a huge and comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast, definitely can recommend staying here.

The facilities & amenities are good, but a particular person behind the desk needs to be replaced.

Breakfast was very good. It was warm, there was variety, and containers were refilled promptly.

I talked to the front desk, days before my stay, having a problem with booking the room online. The lady was bothered and bored by my call. The same young lady was at the desk when I arrived at 4 pm for my stay. She seemed bored and bothered by my arrival. I didn’t see her at first, being slumped behind the computer.

This was our 3rd stay at this HI it is a good location for many of our trips and will choose it again.

it was convenient off of 81 easy check in room was spacious friendly staff good coffee

breakfast could be better…scrambled eggs instead of dry omelet, toaster didn’t work well, ran out of cinnamon rolls

Pleasantly surprised

Beds were comfortable overall better than I expected from the reviews. I wanted to cancel because of the unfavorable reviews but couldn't without losing the night stay. I was pleasantly pleased with the condition of the hotel. Breakfast was good and hot. The breakfast attendant was a kind and hardworking.

The bathroom could have been a little cleaner. The floors especially needed cleaned better.

I liked the location

the rooms were not cleaned properly. sheets were not changed and bedding was picked up off the floor and put back on the bed. stains in carpet of room 110 and looked like moldy Sheetrock in the bathroom like someone overflowed the tub on the second floor
