Musty smell in room

Holes were not the pools were nice. The room was clean and the staff was friendly.

I didn't like that I was charged extra for parking and it wasn't all paid at the same time. The that I paid big bucks for with sour. The mix was old. And the air conditioning in the room kept us up all night going off and on off and on.

Hotel location

Prices went up more than 50% since half year ago... It was my forth time there and last unfortunately. The rates are high and on the top of that that start charging 25$ parking per day and 75$ two chairs and umbrella. That's additional $100.00 per day that is not included in the rate. That's such a shame.

Lillian at the front desk is completely incompetent and regimes what would have been a great stay

We called down to Lillian at the front desk and she assured us for $50 extra we could stay until 4. After changing our flight and plans around we went down to the front desk to pay her and she said she had no availability and I must have talked to the new guy. We definitely talked to Lillian on the phone. We had already changed our plans and could not change them back so she said it would be $400 and we would have to change rooms and pay for an entire day. After all that, she even had the nerve to say “must be nice to to be able to drop $400 like that” I could not believe that someone with an condescending attitude like Lillian’s would be trusted to work the front desk of your resort.

- I didn’t like that there is now a charge for beach chairs and parking and the nightly reception with free drinks is no more. This used to be included with the resort fee. Now the resort fee doesn’t really cover much. I don’t have small kids so the daily kids activities don’t apply to me. - The property is old and in need of updates - I’ve stayed here multiple times and have always had nothing but positive things to say about the staff. This trip started out very negative at check in with Lillian. She was very rude - she charged my card for the resort fees and when I tried to explain to her that the resort fees were included in my booking reservation so told me that that “never” happens and that I still had to pay them. I told her this has happened before and when I bring it up the check in person has always corrected this. She told me “Don’t get intense. this is check in. you can just dispute it at checkout”. so extremely rude. I didn’t want to argue with her so let it go and did dispute it at check out and Jared was amazing, looked at my booking reservation and removed the extra charges for the resort fees. This could have all been taken care of at check in if Lillian would have listened instead of arguing with me about it. - we had GREAT service from Morgan, Dominic and Cindy and Rum Runners.

My room had the ocean view and my bed was comfortable.

Everyone in the lobby was waiting all day to check in. Had to wait over 5 hours and was told to just go to the beach and resort but my flight was canceled so I was stuck in florida and really was wanting to check in for the time I paid for. I heard there were bugs in another room and the customer service wasn't great. They just give you a water bottle as their way to make things better. Not worth the money and rather stay at this motel all week. 1000% better and so much cheaper...

Location was great

The room was extremely humid, so much so that they had a dehumidifier in the room so it is a known issue. The air conditioner is not working properly or this wouldn't be a problem. The hot tub was not working. I received a text asking me how my stay was on the first day of my stay, so I told them about these issues and they replied that they were sending someone to fix, 3 days later no one fixed them. Not enough outlets in the room, We had to change from charging our cell phones to using the coffee maker, not enough outlets to do both. Time for a long overdue upgrade.

We had a balcony which was a primary concern. The desk staff was professional and we really didn't interact with anyone else on staff.

The air exchange unit over the sink was nasty. Needs cleaning and paint. The toilet seat was worn to the degree that I wondered if it was the original seat. The hinges on the bathroom door were rusty.

Was always cold by the time it got to the Resturant to be served

Mattress were to soft, music was too loud at night, checking in was terrible 3 1/2 hours late , no view from our room due to palm trees and couldn’t believe after what we paid for the room that. We still had to pay for beach chairs

You guys charged me an extra 71.95 and then 287.95 on top of already paying to stay the one night. Please have someone fix this ASAP.

That my card was charged randomly

Had a great amount of amenities that were convenient to get to. Beach was awesome and had Jet ski, parasailing and other adventure options at 10% discount.

Had 2 separate rooms, one was a little musty but not bad. Previous guest may have left the patio door open in the humid air. They did have a dehumidifier going.

The location of being near St. Pete Beach

The room was advertised as with a view and a partial ocean view is pictured. My view was the parking lot and my room was almost furthest away from the beach! Update: I booked and paid through Booking.com. ($980 for 2 nights). I see on my bank statement the resort charged me an additional $275.55. I've been contacting the resort for 3 days and get pushed to Voicemail. Noone will take my call and answer my questions regarding the charge. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and disputed charge through my bank. DON'T STAY HERE NOT WORTH THE MONEY OR THE AGGRAVATION!!!

the location on the beach and the playground was great.

It is very dated and not every room actually has a “view” . We stayed in a double queen room that had several mold spots on the ceiling, the shower ceiling was loose, and the room had a smell. They constantly charged my credit card on file even though I booked the room through booking.com. I have been charged over $2,000 for what I thought was a $800ish dollar stay.The staff wouldn’t do anything about it but tell me that the charges are only pending and that they would drop off once I checked out of the room. The charges are still on my card and I can’t get ahold of anyone to fix it. Overall not a great experience plus you pay $40/day resort fee and $25/day to park. If your thinking about staying here don’t waste your time. It’s not worth it.

I asked for an ocean facing room off the 1st floor. We were put in the "garden" area, no view, on the first floor . Our room smelled like urine and cigarette smoke. Rust stains bleeding through the paint in both the bathroom and wash room .AC was like listening to a washing machine.

I like that they offered enjoyable things for kids.

I asked for a room off the first floor and ocean front and we ended up in a room on the first floor and away from ocean front. Room was not very clean, could tell there was damage in the rooms, and the toilets ran most of the night. When we said something to that lady at the front desk about our room not being what we booked she said “well that’s what you paid for”

Location was great. Live music in the beach front bar was fun. The food however was all from a central kitchen and arrived fairly cold and lacking in flavor.

The property is feeling very dated. We had problems with room keys and confusion about parking. They said they changed their policy and parking was no longer included and wanted us to get a parking pass from the front desk, who didn't answer the phone, had computer problems and didn't seem to know what room we were in.
