I don’t think the rooms were the level I expected at a Best Western PLUS property

I love the proximity

Fresh paint and vinyl floors were nice. Newer furniture and heating/air conditioning unit. Location on Main St.

Very small water closet and mattresses and bedding were not very comfortable.

the staff is never in the lobby. I could not get my key to work and waited 30 minutes in the lobby for an employee to show up. she was out in her car with another person , same problem when I checked out. there was a sign on the desk in the lobby indicating that they would return in 5 minutes or less. I sit in the lobby from 10:39. - 11:15. this is the check out time and you would think that there would be some type of staff readily available. appears that she was up in the breakfast area eating. while I was waiting, snd only continued to wait because I needed a check out receipt for my travel expenses (4) other quest came u to the lobby and continued to wait for the employee.

Ok for the price.

The shower could use a grip handle and the shower curtain could be alittle better. Lots of noise with cars racing down main street.

We were looking forward to our stay with the beautiful indoor pool and hot breakfast, however expectations were no met. Despite repeated requests at the front desk and directly to housekeeping we were not able to get housekeeping until the third day of our stay. We were told leave our garbage outside the door and come to the front desk for towel exchange even though daily housekeeping was included in the rate Our initial overnight rate for the first night was acceptable. I then extended our stay twice for a total of four nights with verbal agreement from the front desk that it would be at the same rate. However upon check I found I was charged $499 for the final night. About four time higher than the other nights. The check-out clerk said it was out of their control and to contact the manager in writing. Two emails requesting a correction to the rate have gone unanswered and I’ve now disputed the credit card charge.

Front office staff very impersonal. Did not see a smile from any front office staff member. Also, no eye contact. Short plain answers given when I asked questions. Felt like I was interrupting their conversation. No other guests around so I didn’t understand this as I have been in the hotel and hospitality business for over 30 years.

The breakfast was decent. Eggs were too salty. Waffles were great. Staff was nice.

The floor of the room was filthy. Clearly had not been swept or mopped for a very long time. The furniture was very dated. For $254 per night it was NOT worth it. I was in town from NY and very disappointed with this location. This is a motel with Best Westin name slapped on it. Clearly has not been painted since the 90's. I traveled for a college football game, it was convenient due to its proximity to the university, but what a dump. Best Westin MUST DO BETTER. Was not worth more than $40 per night. The cleaning person came into the room and did not even make the beds because I had straightened out the bed prior to leaving out. Lazy. The front desk staff was pleasant. I will never, ever, fornever stay at this location again. I suggest you find a different location as well unless you like slumming it.
