Location and generally the cleanliness of rooms.
Starting to show age, especially bath/shower. Breakfast was not very good- cold and dry scrambled eggs and sausage.

We had no issues with our stay.

Convenient and clean
No elevator. People dragging luggage down stairs at 6:00 am, doors slamming. Wasn’t restful at all.

Professional, clean and modern furniture and helpful staff. We didn't even think we were in a hotel. Great breakfast too. Overall Shelbyville was a nice town.

It was very clean. Beds were very comfortable. They had everything we needed in the room.
The walls were thin and we heard the tv from the adjoining room and the room above us we could hear a lot of what sounded like kids running in the room. There was a very small button like device attached to the top of the tv that made us a little nervous about what that was lol. The bed was very comfortable but the sheets were super thin like old sheets.

TV didn't work. Desk person tried to help, but couldn't get it fixed. Also, no elevator.
Asked for first floor when booked. Got there and girl at desk put us on 2nd floor. After much convincing, gave us first floor room.

We’ve stayed here many times, and it’s always nice and clean.
There’s no elevator, and it makes it difficult having to climb stairs, as my mother has knee problems, and my husband suffers with gout.

The place was very clean. Enjoyed the pool. The breakfast was very good especially compared to other hotels that serve a complimentary breakfast.
Truly the only issue was that there was no elevator. We tend to travel with alot of items. If we drive we have our pillows and a cooler. Along with our bags we had to make a couple trips up the stairs.

Check-in process was easy, we were also able to check-in early. the facility was clean and pleasant for the price.
Only downside of the room was a potential need for shower upgrades, but overall still okay. Breakfast was not very good with eggs being too salty and sausage looking a little undercooked, but it was free so we didn’t necessarily mind too much.

The manager/owner guy. He was a foreigner he did not make me feel comfortable when he lied to me about my rate. But that's okay cuz the other guy will fix it for you

location of the property was nice.
the guy at the front desk wasn’t very friendly. the bed was very uncomfortable and our fridge and microwave were not plugged in.

Pet friendly.
Just a suggestion. I stayed in a motel that had a basket of rags in the pet rooms....old raggedy wash cloths that were there for muddy dog feed or water spills or whatever..that was great. Thanks
