Staff was friendly, food at the restaurant was great! Location was amazing, with free parking! The neighborhood was quiet and walkable. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Portland.
A/C had issues, but they weren't terrible. Minifridge didn't work properly.

Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Staff were helpful, laid back, and always available. Aveda products for the bathroom were a great touch! Also, the late check out at noon worked great for us since we’re catching the afternoon Amtrak train. Excellent location in the charming NW district. Safe area to walk around in. The hotel is within walking distance to the wide variety of shops and restaurants on 23rd. We even walked to the Forest park to check out the amazing nature and trail network. We stayed here on a past trip with a car and it was easy to drive places as well. Transit is very close to the hotel as well. We did try the new on site restaurant for breakfast, it was excellent too.
The carpet in the room (406) needs replacing/ upgrading. It is an old, industrial type.

The heater is a little bit noisy. There is strange sound coming from heater sometimes.
But I think other room should be fine.

the staff was super kind, the bed was really cozy and the bathtub/shower combo was so nice to have

Restaurant food very good!
The 4th floor had an ongoing fan hum which we found annoying… the staff was very helpful! However, those at the desk needed to be informed of how to direct us from I 5 … since my GPS wasn’t working!!

Great location near plenty of restaurants. Staff was super friendly. The room was clean and the beds very comfy.

Nice location, close to the 23rd. The bar is a plus. Hotel is clean, and functional. I will come back to that hotel.
Breakfast a little bit pricey. And in general I feel the prices at the restaurant are a little bit too high.

Charming neighborhood. Only 15 minutes from Union Station (Amtrak). Attentive staff. Very quiet for sleeping—which I did not expect in a city hotel. I’m happy to have found my Portland “home.”

the customer service was ON POINT!! From the follow up check in call, to the hand written welcome note, to the warm welcoming front desk employee's. I was thoroughly impressed.
If I had to pick, I wished there was a continental breakfast available. But We knew that wasn't available hen we booked the hotel. I just had wished there was.

The room was fine, food was decent, fun places to eat around the hotel
Traffic noise, garbages weren’t emptied in room from previous people so there was tobacco chew in the trash, server at restaurant was overwhelmed by how many people were eating at once and tried to persuade us to not order

Provided a choice of disability friendly rooms. Needed a roll in shower with 2 beds. Hard to find. Appreciated the free parking. Easy to find location. All staff were friendly and helpful.
Followed guidance for towel refresh and it didn't happen. Pillows were too soft. Need options.
