Room was really dirty floors were dirty sink and shower were dirty and there is a train track right behind the motel

Noting. It was awful.

We drove from Chicago for a trip drove 13 hours straight. Booked this room the day before the pictures on the listing are not correct. Got to the room one of use went to sleep and the rest of us went to the dolor general right next to the property to get snacks. Mind you we were only at the property for about 2-3 hours. Didn’t notice any of the flaws, just the very strong smell of something. Since were were only in the room for about 30-50 mins. When we got back we opened the lights to see this horrific scene. We were repulsed at the site of the beds where my older brother took a nap on. It was disgusting. The bathroom doors lock was on the outside. The main door to enter the room was smaller then the frame which allowed light to shine through the out side. It was like with one hard punch from the outside it would open. After seeing all of this we got out of that room. Went to the front desk to tell them that we don’t want to stay here in this unclean hazardous room. He stated there’s a cancelation fee. Mind you we booked it for 3 night for about $280 ish. The front desk attendant was like the cancelation cost is $93 ish. We told him yeah that’s fine just refund the rest back to us. He started playing with the computer saying ohh I can’t check you out right now. I will do it in the morning. We were so tired that we didn’t understand at the moment what he was trying to do. But the. He’s like you all set. Have a good night And we left. Next day we saw that we were charged the cancelation fee and a fee for staying the night since he checked us out the next day even though we didn’t stay there. Went to another in with cameras a proof of when we got there and how many nights we stayed there. As of right now we have this travel lodge a cancelation fee and a one night fee even though we weren’t even there. I tried calling the travel lodge but they won’t pick up. The beds had dog fur on them. Paw prints the ac was busted it was just a disgusting room.

The staff was excellent. Super friendly.

The room felt gross. The furniture was falling apart. The bathtub had peeling paint. The breakfast was not much. Overall, it should have been maybe $30/night. Just not pleasant.

The room was nicely finished. Hot water for shower plentiful. Good internet and excellent TV cable choices.

Neighbor playing rap music all night very loudly and trains constantly.

Rooms and bathrooms need to be redone. Dirty walls, bathroom tile is cracked and dirty, shower/tub is peeling, room smelled musty, doors don’t close good.

The only thing that was good about it was the location.

I had viewed 3 rooms when I got to the hotel & ALL THREE had BUGS , DUST & BLACK MOLD IN THEM. I immediately went to the front office and was given a refund.
