Mi è piaciuta la posizione dell'hotel, abbastanza centrale rispetto al centro abitato e molto vicino al parco dove andavo per prendere dell'aria pulita che non potevo respirare in camera e ai locali quali ristoranti, supermercati, centri ricreativi, musei. Io li raggiungevo tranquillamente a piedi, il che non è poco viste le distanze. Mi è piaciuto anche il personale della reception che nel poco delle sue capacità si è impegnato per aiutarci nei momenti di difficoltà.

Non mi è piaciuta la camera. Sono stata lì per 2 settimane e per tutta la mia permanenza la camera non è stata mai pulita. Avevo un insetto morto sulla moquette accanto all'unità dell'aria condizionata. Mi ha fatto compagnia da quando sono arrivata fino a quando me ne sono andata. Il bagno non veniva pulito, l'ho pulito io il primo giorno che sono arrivata visto che c'era un altro insettino morto sopra il paraschizzi del lavandino del bagno. Quando abbiamo notato che la politica di pulizia prevedeva che le stanze fossero pulite una volta ogni 4 giorni, un mio collega che alloggiava lì ha richiesto che la sua stanza fosse pulita tutti i giorni, ma anche se richiesto la pulizia non aveva luogo. Durante la mia permanenza mi sono stati portati degli asciugamani e mi sono state sistemate le lenzuola (non cambiate, ma solo sistemate) solo 2 volte ed entrambe le volte, al mio ritorno, ho trovato la porta della camera aperta, non chiusa bene da chi aveva effettuato il servizio, ciò denota una notevole disattenzione al servizio. L'ho fatto notare alla reception entrambe le volte, consapevole del fatto che non potessi prendermela con loro, ma l'evento si è comunque ripetuto. Non volevano offrirci la colazione per cui avevamo pagato al momento della prenotazione su booking.com. Fortunatamente il mio collega, citato sopra, si è opposto all'ingiustizia e, munito di ricevuta di prenotazione, è riuscito a farsi dare per tutti noi dei coupon da utilizzare nel ristorante la mattina per pagare il buffet della colazione, altrimenti avremmo dovuto pagare anche per quella. Per quello che ho pagato a notte e per il mancato servizio ricevuto nella pulizia e nell'igiene della camera direi che è stata un'esperienza illuminante. Dovessi tornare ad Oak Ridge, molto probabilmente cercherò altre sistemazioni, anche se le persone della reception e del ristorante sono state molto carine e disponibili per quello che potevano fare.

The bed was comfortable. The staff was nice.

The room was dirty. There was shredded cheese on a chair in the room. Not just 1 piece it was covered with cheese. Then the air conditioning unit was not working. This was the breaking point for us. When I went to the front desk, I was offered free breakfast for the inconvenience. Not a partial refund. I was not impressed with the offer but was too tired to argue. Needless to say we did not take the free breakfast. We just just left as early as possible the next morning. The 2nd room they gave us was okay but the bed was half ass made and the bathroom only had 1 towel. It was just so disappointing to pay this much for 1 night and it ends up being like this.

The property was nice and in a good location.

The room wasn't cleaned every day. We were there 3 nights. Our room wasn't touched. Apparently they only clean every 4th day. This wasn't a cheap place and I really felt disappointed in they're policy on housekeeping. Covid is over. There's no excuse for housekeeping not to clean daily. When we left our trash cans were overflowing. And I made the bed every day.

The location was great. Shopping and restaurants close by.

There was no laundry facilities. Not just this hotel but most of them now you have to ask for towel and wash cloths every day. If you have 2 people staying for 7 days, they need more than 3 towels and wash cloths. Policy is to change sheets on the fourth day, I had to ask on the fifth day to have ours changed. The beds are to close to the wall. The person that sleeps next to the wall has to crawl up the bed to get in the bed.

No room cleaning or towel replacement daily. Service in restaurant was extremely slow.

the property itself is a little dated but fittings have been updated so made absolutely no difference to the comfort of our stay.
