Manager went above and beyond to accommodate a personal request. Location is excellent. Bedding is very good. Bath/shower products were of nice quality.
Front desk has to ask for permission for a nominal personal request. Value (no breakfast included). Rooms need updating if you are going to charge premium rates. Our furniture had stains all over. Minimal TV channel selection. It is very apparent that you are resting on the fact that you have a great location.

Love that it had a bathtub, heated pool, and fireplace with an ocean view

The property was so beautiful, all the exterior and interior matched wonderfully and made us feel like we were in paradise. All the facilities were clean and easily located. The heated pool was such a welcome treat after a long walk on the beach which is literally in view of the hotel pool, only a couple mins walk away. The hot tub next to the pool was another wonderful addition as was the fire and seats that allowed us to enjoy the view of the waves at night. Everything was perfect and I cannot recommend staying here enough!
It’s barely even worth mentioning but my only issue was that the fireplace in our room wasn’t switched on by a switch like the other rooms but rather a dial that looked like it was for the air con so we didn’t know how to switch it on and had to call the front desk. They did say that they were going to update this design to match the other rooms.

Charming inn located 75 feet from the Pacific. We were a party of 6 and had two spacious rooms. One king and one with 2 queens. Both with good beds and fireplace. Nice pool and hot tub. Very good location if visiting Hearst Castle or the charming town of Cambria.

Everything was great. it’s by the sea. the inn is super cute. it was a shame I got there ar 8 pm and there was no option for dinner and everything around was about to close.

the location and room were perfect. the rate was low for an ocean view room. but the staff was excellent. very professional, courteous and accommodating. will go back just because of the staff.

The location, room, lobby, and view were great. I rarely give 10 ratings across the board but this hotel was awesome, with great staff, beautiful rooms, and a cozy fireplace. The price was reasonable for an ocean view.

beds were very comfortable. lovely shoreline walk
apart from the guy who checked us in, staff were grumpy and seemed fairly resentful of answering any questions. We had a king suite which was disappointingly not like the photos. apart from needing a fresh coat of paint, the ground floor was dingy and whilst yes it had a glimpse of the ocean I wouldn’t really call it a ‘partial ocean view’ as advertised, when you have cars parked right up against the window . sorry guys but it’s not worth the price!

it was in the best location! Across from Menstone Beach and a beautiful beach path. We loved the high ceilings and the fireplace within our room. It was a magical getaway. we would definitely come back.
it’s a minor detail, but the outlets didn’t work very well. And there weren’t enough of them.

The location was amazing and we liked having the living room and bedroom spaces for privacy for us and our son.
We couldn’t really figure out where to put the coffee table while the sofa bed was out. It was a bit of a small space to have the couch folded out.
