Really, I loved pretty much everything. The staff were hospitable and helpful. I would stay here again!

I wish that y'all (and many other motels) would steam clean/shampoo the carpets in the rooms. I wear white socks and even when I don't leave the room (and am not wearing shoes) my socks end up being dark brown. I'm sure the room had been vacuumed. It needs a deeper cleaning than vacuuming.

The room did have a smell, so we bought cleaner and sprays to clean and freshen how we liked.

Stayed at Southport for the 4th July celebrations (we had discovered Southport after watching the Safe Haven film). Hotel pool was most welcome in the heat of the afternoon, before we headed back into town for the fireworks. Good breakfast.

The pool was dirty and the carpet was old and the bath tub was old and the AC wasn’t working good it was hot in the room it wouldn’t let me set it. And the bath towels look dirty with stains

Nice staff but some didn’t speak English

The tv options were poor

Breakfast options were terrible without any healthy foods including the old oranges. We are dairy free. The decaf coffee urn was empty as well. My husband was taking a shower and there was only 1 bath towel. I asked housekeeping and there were none on the cart. The young man said to go to the front desk where the lady said there was none available. Frustrating! Overall, this was a disappointing place.

Shower was dirty not enough towels or toilet paper. Curtains didn't block light well
