Good location cleaner then most I’ve stayed in a great while, very comfortable rooms.

The man at the front desk was an amazing host and delightful person! Only good thing about that place.

No safety latch on the door, dents and holes in walls, toilet paper holder falling off wall, mattresses were extremely uncomfortable and noisy. Basically the worst motel I've ever stayed at!

We stayed a grand total if 15 minutes before finding another hotel. The beds had torn box spring covers. The chair in the room was not only torn but had something on it that looked like poop. There was one small window in the room. My daughter got white dog hair on her sock and we don’t own a white dog.

The people were helpful and polite but the facilities needed repaint and repair badly. The chair by the bed also had something on it, but I hate to think what. There was a group of people who looked homeless hanging out in the parking lot. We left right away and went to another hotel.I was told by the front desk I’d get my money back and I just got an email saying I won’t. I’m angry!

Convenient to beaches and shopping. Clean rooms, if a little small.

No air conditioning in rooms. Had to leave door open to get air circulation. Room was a bit stuffy.

price, location, proprietor (“John”) who was VERY ACCOMMODATING when/how he could. Claimed a very tight budget.

Older property, appears run-down, dirty. Rooms are an enigma e.g. no AC, single window w/bent non-fitting screen, no ceiling fan (read NO AIR/flow in the room (only very small in-wall heater for winter); NO CLOSET/unit or anywhere to HANG anything. 2 very THIN pillows, single paper thin blanket (no spare blanket/s). Other party traveling members complained of no toilet paper in bathroom, missing bath towels. some members slept in clothes, as they felt the room/bed was DIRTY. One traveling member needed to address his reservation, only was able to speak with someone in INDIA??… even then it took a long period on the phone and multiple agents/supervisor to just change a date. if you call either the Newport Inn, OR their sister property, the Oyo Waves Hotel, you’ll speak with the same agents in India. For a $325 (incl taxes/fee) a complete seasonal price gouging rip-off. Would NOT recommend this property
