The restaurant on the property was convenient.

The location is convenient to the Interstate. We've stayed at this location for years, twice a year each time. The Mexican restaurant connected to the hotel is also a plus. We don't have to get in the car to find a place to eat. The staff is very friendly as well.

Breakfast was super clean and had a lot of choices. Super nice staff and great location. Room was clean.

Unfortunately we were there in December and the temperatures outside were near zero. That made the ice machines susceptible to the water lines freezing, since they’re located outside. It was an inconvenience to have them shut off.

Bedding, room

Cracked shower head, large work trucks parked directly behind our car in our designated parking spots for our room, construction next door.

Nothing, this place is a dump.

There is heavy sketchy foot traffic around here. The ac broke and they did nothing about it. So we had to sleep in a hit room. Also, the maid literally walked into our room at like 10:30 WITH THE DEADBOLT LATCH DONE. She was able to walk right into our room. So this place also give you 0 security. Apparently this is not the first time they've had complaints of people walking into rooms. This place is a gross dump.

there was people talking loud outside their rooms till late in the mourning and I think some of these people had made this their residence.

convenient location

Loved the location. Felt very safe. Staff EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. Great area for walking my dog - and very lit up.

The breakfast was very good. There was a good variety of food, and all was delicious. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location worked out well for our trip to the Blue Ridge Parkway.

We have no complaints about the hotel itself but about the restaurant that opens into the lobby of the hotel. We heard good things about the restaurant, El Paso #2, from the person at the desk and from other hotel guests coming through the lobby. We had been traveling for about 12 hours and were exhausted and very hungry. We ordered takeout. When we opened it in our room, we found that not only had we been given the wrong entree but also that it was literally burned black. We were too tired and hungry to go back to the restaurant at that point to complain. We ate some chips, salsa, guacamole and part of our salad. We found a few places where the flank steak had not been burned and cut that out to eat. By that point, we decided we had paid too much for the meal to overlook the awful service. We bagged up everything but the tea, took it back to the restaurant, and asked for a refund to which the host responded, "All of it?" I was told I ordered what we were given (flank steak, cactus, onions, and bean soup), when what I actually ordered was ribeye steak and shrimp. But even if we had been given what we ordered, there was no excuse for it being burned. We were eventually given a refund for the entree. As a result I paid a $5 tip for a $5 side salad and a glass of tea. I would stay at this hotel again, but I will never eat at this restaurant.
