Best deal in Santa Barbara. No AC and loud plumbing, but I can’t say I’d wouldn’t look there first for a place to stay.

The place was very clean. The property is across the street from the beach.
They charge a $7.00 facility fee. There is just a pool that is too cold to use. The heater did not keep the room warm.

This location is amazing - almost on the beach (you just have to cross one road and you are there!). It has a fun retro vibe, big rooms, fun colors. Do note, there was no AC but they provided an industrial strength fan which was great. Some of the hotel is a bit rough around the edges - some areas could use a repair or two, but you can't beat the location and it is affordable. The pool is heated and is a great place to unwind.
Parking is limited - but you can find other spots on the nearby streets. Also, do note that prices double on the weekends.

Roman who checked us in. Nice guy who gave us some excellent food recommendations.
It looked like the room was used as a storage closet when it wasn't being rented. Two fans. A chair that didn't really fit in the room. Everything needed updating.

Bathroom ceiling leaked heater stunk when turned on so we couldn't use it.

Location was great, right on the beach and easy walk to alot of activities. The staff was friendly. Internet speed was fast, which was nice since I had to bring some work with me.
What parking was avaialble was very tigh and is lacking enough spaces, requiring having to park on the street. The room we had was very dated and needed some remodeling. Didn't have continental breakfast as stated in the booking website, was informed via email automated confirmation after we booked the room. Wasn't a deal killer, but would have been nice to know uo front.

No continental breakfast, NO COFFEE! I highly recommend adding a coffee station in each room for your guests.

beautiful grounds, pictures made it look very inviting. unfortunately our room was in the oldest part, had a view but not as expected for the price.
manager and help were in the midst of a training argument when we walked into the office. the wait to be recognized was not acceptable. not even a coffee machine!

Elevator needs updating, no coffee maker in the room, under stairway stuff was piled—chairs, supplies, cost: $370/night plus city tax.

No A/C... none. 0 accommodations, no breakfast, no gym, no forks/knives.. microwave. The rooms are at least 50 years in need of a full blown remodel. Im surprised its still standing to he honest. If you need a fast 1 night stay, maybe.. just dirty and stuck wayyy in the past. Id advise looking elsewhere.

Would have liked to return our key before 8:00. No one in the office until 8:00 AM

It’s a little older and it shows in the room but for the price and area, it’s a good trade off.
