The location for where we needed to be.
The room ceiling looked like it had water damage and it was noticeable uneven in spots. The shower rod in the bathroom was falling off the wall. The bed was very uncomfortable.

Toilet made a loud noise when flushed. Bathtub really needs to be redone and the linen was cleaned but smelled funky. In the morning there was not enough places for all the guests to eat breakfast.

On April 6, 2024, I arrived at La Quinta Inn and checked in. I had prepaid $1,600.62 for 3 nights. I had originally planned to have a larger party, so I had asked previously if I could get a refund for my reservation. But since I was told that I could not get a refund, I decided to check in.
At 5:30 PM on the evening of April 7th, La Quinta Inn staff member, Shannon, texted me asking whether I had left the hotel. I did not see this message until late that night because I was out having dinner and socializing. I texted her back at 10:55 PM that night that I was still checked in until Tuesday.
Early the next morning, I attempted to enter my room and discovered that my room key was deactivated. La Quinta Inn staff member, Shannon, came down the corridor and said that she had sold my room because she thought that I had left. I asked her what happened to my suitcase which I had left in the room. She said that it was at the front desk. She returned my suitcase and said that I would be refunded for what would have been the 2nd and 3rd nights of my stay (April 7th and April 8th). She said that the refund would be $1,066 and that I would receive it in ten business days.
Later that morning, I called Shannon because I noticed that the credit card number on the paper that she gave me was not mine. She said that that credit card number belonged to Booking.com. She said that this was because I made the reservation through Booking.com and that La Quinta Inn would have to send the money back to Booking.com. Then, Booking.com would send the refund to me. I contacted Booking.com a few days later, but they said that they had not heard anything about it from La Quinta Inn. Ten business days have since passed and I have not received any money from La Quinta Inn or Booking.com.

I was given a handicap room. In the shower I had to duck to wash my hair. The room smelled of bleach and mothballs. My door key kept not working and I had to have the front desk reset it multiple times. There were no USB ports and my "nightstand " was a wobbly lamp with a small table incorporated.

The room was looking like it needed an "facelift", this hotel has had no improvements done in years. It was dusty and windows need a good cleaning.

The bed was clean and comfortable. The breakfast and coffee were okay.
This Hotel needs a major upgrade in carpets, throughout the Hotel and furniture in the rooms. We were afraid to even sit on the furniture in our room due to the lack of cleanliness and the chair was broken. Lake of toiletries was a big disappointment. I had two tissues in my tissue box. And none to replace the empty.

I liked how amazing the staff were they were super kind
I didn't like that the pool had issues to get in I had to get staff twice my mattress was uncomfortable and my wife's pillows were terrible . The fridge was set so high that it froze my daughter's milk for her bottles .

I'm very disappointed that the internet did not work. It's very important to me to have internet, the Wi-Fi on my phone and my tablet.

room was clean the lady at reception very kind
the tv programming not easy i ask for help a young man came to my room and said he did not now much and was not paid enough to fix this kind of problem i sais excuse me but this is part of your job customer service he said well the tv dish serves over 109 rooms so it bugs he turned the tv off and put it back on and it did not fix anything and while he was in my room he was constantly looking over my night stand where my tablet ,watch and other things where left at eye sight
i got very uncomfortable with the situation and i told him to forget it i will go on my tablet and i showed him the door.
i also mentionned to him that the side door was not closing properly and anybody could come in when i used it in checking in i needed my card he did not even go and check it…it got me insecure to sleep i was a couple of doors from that side entrance and for these reasons i will not be staying there again
i have friends in that town who knows the owner and gave me a good reference for this place.
this is also to be mentionned the room does not have a clock or usb ports or kleenex tissues

The staff was friendly. I thought it would be a nice birthday trip for my teen daughter. Room was nice..not great but ok enough.
I got severe chemical burns from the hot tub. It did smell very strong, strong bleach like chemical smell but since that was the main reason I booked at this property, I used the hot tub anyway. My daughter mostly used the pool. I ended up with hives and chemical burns and my skin peeled and blistered. I was in alot of pain. I realize I am fair skinned and have red hair but I travel about once a month and use their hot tubs and never have a problem. I itched immediately after, showered after and my daughter showered. We left early the next morning itchy and tired . Doors slammed all night and people yelled and moved about the halls. Also they need to oil the bathroom doors, you can hear them screech from every other room around you all night long when someone got up to use their restroom. Sounds like you're trying to sleep in a haunted house. Otherwise if these things were corrected, it might be a nice place to stay for a quick overnight stop.
