The lady at the front desk was very helpful and friendly.

The ceiling fan and phone in the room did not work. No shampoo in bathroom had to request housekeeping to clean room. Coffee was cold at breakfast in dinning area. Parents did not control their children allowing them to touch the food. No hot chocolate for non coffee drinkers.

the grounds outside were very pretty and had tons of potential, the patio in the back could be cleaned up and made more inviting, the traffic noice is extremely loud, but that’s Houston and to be expected at smaller motels, with that the back patio should have some type of sound barrier and entertainment available for customers that like to step outside for a drink and relax near the indoor pool, also maybe a small game room with arcades and a air hockey table for people with family going to visit at the hospital across the highway for a few days, a little bit of work goes a long way with that type of area for consumers, especially This property, as it is across the highway from the hospital. It should be more inviting for that reason alone, using that in their advertising would be a good way to get customers in as well! (there were only 4 customers there on the night we stayed) .

The indoor pool looked a little murky ( I am not a pool chemist) but it was murky enough to keep me out. The hot tub was nice however I did not get in. One reason we decided to get this place was because of the advertised indoor pool and breakfast in the morning (both were disappointing). as well as the convenience of being near the Hospital. our room was super musky and smelt so bad. humidity in Houston is bad and this room was next to the indoor pool so that was most likely the case. a simple turning up to the AC before customers arrive would help with that. The beds were like a sponge. not comfortable at all. but for the price of 94$ a night I was not expecting Anything more.

Breakfast was not too good tasting, dining area was freezing. Our room was never cleaned.

Breakfast was ok, wished it was at least till 10am. The service was wonderful, rooms were nice & clean. Maybe needing a bit of touch up paint and some rust in bathroom areas. I don't like the no carpet, but I understand not having it.

Toilet ran for awhile and no one to fix it bc it was nighttime.
