I paid $170 for cigarette holes in my blanket, no water pressure in the bathroom sink. Towels were not fresh.

Outdated room! Rickety furniture! Very outdated carpet! Cleanliness was a ZERO! Looked under the bed and was very filthy housekeepers need to learn to clean! First room jacuzzi jets full of dried mold and the second room the Jacuzzi was clean but tiles around it were moving when stepped on. I could go on but I think you get the idea!

These people are thieves! They ask to leave a $100 deposit. When I checked out they told me I couldn’t get my money back because there was a stain on a pillow case. I explained that the pillow was like that when I checked in. They kept my deposit. The manager was no help.

The only good thing about this place was the staff. They were pleasant

First thing we noticed were blood stains on the bed sheets. 2nd was the smoke detector, or complete lack of. The home where the smoke detector once was had red wires hanging out of it. In my experience red wires are live wires. This breaks several electrical codes, building codes and fire codes. All these issues have been documented in pictures. The bathroom had little black gnats flying around. And the least of the problems was the curtains falling of the curtain rod. In addition the room smelled of cigarettes and mold and was a mess. I tried contacting the manager but every time I called the phone just rings and no one answered

The room we eventually got moved to was nice & had just been nicely decorated. The location & parking was good.

The staff on arrival were very standoffish. I had accidentally booked a smoking room & did not realise. 3 of my group had asthma so we asked to change rooms, having seen that non smoking rooms were available online for the same price. I work in customer service & am a very polite person. The male receptionist was extremely rude to us & said "the only room I have clean right now is a smoking room. You need to deal with that or walk away." After a few back n forths we agreed to view the room for 4 of us that was a smokers room & the other 2 of our group went to their non smoking room. The room was beyond a joke with the smell & we were unable to stay there. I checked again online to see there were rooms available for this night & my friend & I went back down to reception to see if they could help us. The guy on reception pulled a face at his colleague when we came in. I said I wasn't happy with the room as it was a really strong smell of smoke, I asked again about another room & told him I could see online there are non-smoking rooms available, so why couldn't we switch as they must be clean if they're online. He replied "listen, I know what your type are like. You're from a camp and you will wreck the place. I didn't want to give you this because the room has just been redecorated and I don't want it to be wrecked." I said "what do you mean you know my type?! I haven't even said that I work at a camp, I'm just here with friends for a night off. We will not be 'wrecking' anything." He said "no I know what you campers are like, you wreck our rooms. But anyway, I will give you a key to a non smoking room that has just been refinished & it cannot be wrecked." His colleague then piped in very aggressively to say "I'm on the next shift tonight and if there is any hassle you will be out on the street.

I never really expect much when it comes to Torrington, but I was surprised to find that this place was super clean and comfy! We’ll definitely continue to stay here when visiting family

Room was large enough.

Room was not in very good repair. Curtains were missing. Thought I was booking a handicap room but it was not. No room service Saturday. Had to call for clean towels. Never stopped to eat after looking just once. Very over priced.
