Hotel was conveniently located and close to family we were visiting. The room was clean and we liked the chaise lounge that came with our room. Staff was friendly. WIFI was easy to set up. We had some issues with breakfast service on one of the mornings, but when the kitchen staff did show up, it was good and hot with a fair amount of options. We loved the pancake maker!

Smell coming from dresser drawers. They had recently stained the inside of the drawers and it gave off a strong smell. Because of this I could not unpack my cloths in fear of them smelling like stain. Toilet paper roll had only a few sheets on it when we arrived and they didn't have a replacement roll in the room. Inside the closet, the hanger rod was placed 2 feet from the bottom which made it impossible to hang anything. The safe would not lock. The outlet on one side of the bed did not work. The blinds ran by remote, but it appeared the cord and wires got tangled up in the rod which made it inoperable. Not a huge bummer since we were not going to be in the room much, but the TV in the room was not a smart TVs, so we could not cast from our phones to stream anything. They had basic cable with a limited amount of channels. Arriving to breakfast an hour before the end time, they were completely out of everything besides a few muffins. Kitchen staff was late and nobody was there to restock the breakfast items and refill the coffee. In the pool room, one of the pool lights was hanging outside of the pool attached to some wires. This had us questioning the safety of the pool, but we decided to chance taking a dip, and in the end, nobody go electrocuted. Because of the issues we encountered, the rate for this stay, we felt, was over-priced.

Problems at check in. They wanted to charge additional money after I’d already paid at booking.com. I had to call booking.com and get an agent to help me so I could check in. The whole 30 minute process was not helpful especially after driving 7 hrs with 2 kids. They did apologize which was appreciated but definitely not a smooth check in. The room cards stop working the 2nd day. Had to get that fixed. Seemed there was never anyone at the desk to just greet you or extend customer service. Typical ask for more towels needed…that sort of thing. The breakfast was okay. The pancake machine kept messing up despite their fixing it and being assured it was working. Still my sons couldn’t get pancakes to cook. Just little hassles with things made the stay not very pleasant for us. We were in town for a visit to a sick relative and that’s already stressful—so the little things when we left or returned to the hotel were annoying.

The staff lacked people skills and seemed more confused then comfortable handing details. The room was not cleaned, we left towels on the floor assuming house keeping would replace them. Had to go to the front desk and ask for new towels. Please let guests know if that service isn’t happening so we hang up towels.

The air conditioner worked rather strange. It would cycle between either blowing hot or then cold air. it was late both nights when we arrived back to room so we did not call desk. Our room was 317.

Comfortable bed. Room clean.

Breakfast was very poor quality, poor offerings, hot items not warm, coffee undrinkable.

dirty bathroom, had hair left on the floor. tub was dirty, the corners in the bathroom were gross. the pool was super dark and cloudy so we didn’t get to swim at all. we went out of our way to find a hotel with a pool and this one was unusable.
