Frozen microwaved breakfast. Yup, the state of the hotel is pretty dire.
We specifically booked a king bed but were given two queen beds, because "we overbooked all our King beds" according to the front desk guy. Said the correct words but didn't sound apologetic at all. Why book in advance if you don't get the room you've booked.
What's worse, we both have bug bites on our arms. Different beds and both were infested. Unfortunately one of the worst hotels I've stayed at and will not be returning. Bad experience.

Clean, easy to find, close to everything, and staff was super friendly! The breakfast waffles were my favorite part!

The breakfast was exceptional, probably the best we have ever had as a free hotel breakfast. The breakfast hostess, Kathy, was so friendly and so thoughtful. We felt she was a good fri pend when we left.
The pool was quite small but perfect for our two grandsons, ages 4 and 7.

Very friendly staff behind the front desk.
There were no vending machines on any of the floors, only ice. If it was because of Covid I'm surprised they weren't already back in place. For snacks and drinks you had to go across the street.

The woman at check in was friendly and informative. At breakfast, the woman working in the kitchen area was very sweet and accommodating!

They moved us to a better room the second night. Daytime staff accommodated our request.
We wanted two beds, and we were put in a handicapped room with a king bed. Bathroom floor was very slippery when wet from the walk in shower. Also, we were not warned in advance that the full breakfast would not be available because of the holiday. A little extra would have been a nice gift to guests stuck in a hotel on Christmas.

The property and location were just fine. Located right next to I-80. It’s your typical cookie cut hotel.
The lock on our door was messed up and when maintenance came to fix it while we were gone, we couldn’t get into the room when returning. A very helpful staff member let us in, ran two other sets of keys and nothing worked. We then had to change rooms, which I had no problem with. Unfortunately, we were charged again for that room. The staff member that I spoke to about this could not explain why that occurred and simply said that it would drop off in a few days. If we had a low balance in our account, that could’ve caused a serious problem for our travel. That was not the case, but it still frustrated me significantly that no explanation could be made. The facilities were just fine except for the pool. The humidity was so bad in the pool area that you could hardly stand to be in there. The water coming into the pool through the jets was boiling hot and it was not at all relaxing or fun. Turn the temperature down please. I never complain about hotels but the room situation was frustrating enough that I felt the need to share.
