I liked the place, a nice vibe and safe. I really enjoyed the communication with Boothe, it was very smooth and helpful. She kept my reservation even if my card did not work on Booking. I really appreciated this!

The room is clean and well equipped, the toilet is large and comfortable. On my return to NYC I will take the same room if it is available.

We loved everything from the house itself which is nicely decorated with several art pieces to the room which was cosy, spacious and with a very comfortable bed. Boothe has been a wonderful host which took very good care of us and I cannot thank her enough for her generosity. If you are looking for an experience in an authentic Victorian house then this is definitely the place for you!

The owner is an incredibly sweet woman. While it was cold (-15 degrees Celsius), she lent me her jacket and this, during almost all my stay! As a bonus, she took the time to explain to my companion and me what are the secret routes and paths of New York (including a magnificent mosaic!). As for the room, it is spacious, perfectly heated in winter, cleaned and tidied by the host every day. The room has all the necessary luxuries: bathrobes, teas/coffees, several shower gels with different smells, .... Little extras that really make a difference! The place has a crazy charm with a unique decoration. I travel regularly and this accommodation is one of those that I will not forget.

Although the room is quite small, which was also known in advance and is perfectly understandable for the price and location, I felt very comfortable. It is perfect for solo travelers. The house is lovingly and stylishly furnished, the owner very warm and helpful and the location excellent. Subway station right around the corner so every destination is easy to reach. Would come back every time and recommend everyone to spend their vacation here.

Unique town house with great decoration and easy to access from instructions provided. Clean, good sized room with warm shower and all the facilities we needed. approx. 5 mins from a Subway station and approx. 20 minutes from Central Manhattan. Host was very friendly, cleaned our room every day. It was very affordable for the time of year (December). Interesting to stay in a different part of New York.

Host moved our suitcases when cleaning room. We have never had that before but it wasn't a problem!

The guest house is furnished in good taste; comfortable; and the host is simply a wonderful person.

it was in a great location, and it was very quiet in our room, which I loved, and each new room. There was very unique. I’m making it my NYC home away from home.Subway station is a hop skip and a jump away. Can’t wait to go back!

It’s extraordinary and clean. There are many kinds of room types. The location was fine and reachable. 2 subway lines pass by within walking distance about 4-5 blocks away.

One of the nicest room I've ever stayed in! Spacious, clean, well-maintained, and well-equipped; had all the amenities I needed. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, would definitely recommend and would definitely love to stay here again on my next visit to this city.

Can't think of anything, really. I even like that outdoor shoes are not allowed in room so that should say something about how much I like my stay here. If anything I guess I didn't quite like how short my stay here was, should've been longer!
