The office clerk was Lori and she was a fantastic person and did a great job made me feel at home

Horrible customer service, building smells when you walk in, no housekeeping unless you’re there for a week, checked out after one night.

It had a king-sized bed.

For a stay that cost $100+, it was quite surprising that this location offered NO complimentary breakfast. I was told that the diner located a few feet off the property was open around the clock. When I went there I was the only customer, and saw the ownership sign that it was owned by the motel. That's a handy rip-off. There were no drinking glasses in the room. There was no small coffee pot in the room for making coffee. No coffee available in the lobby. My bed had only a sheet and thin blanket for coverings/no bedspread. I woke up cold and turned on the heat, but felt it necessary to shut it down as the "burning smell" from the dust on the heater was something I feared might set off the smoke alarm.

Let me begin by saying we were put in room with no bathroom light. Went to front desk she replies maintenance would not be in till 4:00pm the next day. New room. Gathered all our luggage after a long drive and moved next door was already open. Shut door and key did not work. Another trip to front desk employee uses main key it worked told us to just give it a few minutes and card should work. No concern door was already open. Into 2nd room. Mold in bathroom just waiting to burst through the paint.. Blankets on bed I have not seen since the 70's at least. Refrigerator smelled like rotten fish. Found a half eaten ice cream bar in freezer. Now something new the microwave was on a piece of thick wood nailed up in the vanity area!! Watch your head when brushing your teeth! Cleanliness was okay except the fridge. Iron was missing, hair dryer was apparently ripped off the wall and stolen in the middle of the night. No breakfast- not that I'd eat here. No coffee they tell you to go to diner next door which is filthy! So there's my honest review:)

This hotel is gross, not clean, and the staff was very unprofessional.

The first room that was given to us smelled like must and mold. Upon complaining about this, they moved us to another room. The second room had pee stains on the bed sheets and didn't appear to even be changed. After this we went to a different hotel.

We liked the diner next door.

We checked in ( that person was very nice), went to the room, and started looking around. First I looked in the refrigerator and there was a sack in it, I looked and there was half eaten food. Yuck! Next found out there were not any plastic cups, and we booked the room for 3 people but there weren’t enough towels for 3. Then we couldn’t close the drain in the sink, handle was broken! So went to front desk to complain and get cups and towels. There was an older gentleman and a younger man and at least the younger man wrote down my complaint and got me cups and towels. Then they asked if we wanted to change room if they had one and I said no because we had been at lake all day and just wanted to shower. The next morning I saw a notice that explained if we wanted new towels to leave the used ones on the floor so assumed we would get fresh towels. That evening we went into room and it hadn’t been cleaned, towels were still on the floor, beds weren’t made! So went back to desk and was told we don’t do that until you leave, doesn’t matter how long you stay…and this was “the manager” speaking! Actually there was at least 4 or 5 just standing around behind the desk… what are they getting paid to do??? We have never stayed at any motel that didn’t clean daily! We have stayed at this motel at least 2 or 3 times and never had a problem!!! We even got coupons for free breakfast at Peggy’s diner.Oh, I forgot, I had to ask the manager again for towels…she was rude as could be😡 I think it should be posted just what you do get (or not) for money when you stay at motels! We paid $250 dollars for 2 nights, I think we should have gotten a discount!
