The room was dirty, there were cookies on the bed on the floor, not enough towels, missing the sheets and covers and pillows for the pull out. Staff took forever to clean they left never came back to finish the job

The room, the service from the front desk, lack of housekeeping, room was full of sand, didn’t have towels till my last night. Was told they didn’t have anymore towels and wash cloths.

The professionalism of the staff, cleanliness, quiet atmosphere. The location of the hotel was in a three block radius of the venue which was the Convention Center. The breakfast was good, the availability of parking. I have been coming to O. C. for, 24 years now but my first time staying at La Quinta by Wyndham and I loved it, I have recommended this hotel to everyone. This will be the the hotel for me when I visit O C.. I will be reserving a room for next convention for April 2024, see you soon

location was In walking distance of the venue I was attending, restaurants, stores and the beach.

The trip down was well and it was good to have something at that location because some eateries could be walked to. I like the location to the ocean so we could walk on the beach. Staff were friendly, however, didn't know a lot of what we asked of them. Like the channel selection or the hotel.

The phone in the room didn't work. We told the front desk but that was never fixed. While the front desk had a channel listing, it was so incorrect that we went through every channel to see what the channels were and handed it in at the end of our stay so a correct one should be made. It was difficult finding the channel guide on the TV and was just an accident that we found it. One front desk staff said, "Well we don't use the TVs so I don't know what the channels are." However, for customer service and acclimation, this information should be readily available. Also, we asked multiple times for help with our thermostat in the room which wouldn't circulate air. Thankfully the days there weren't rainy and had a nice wind. I didn't feel fully safe, though having to sleep with the balcony door open. -- and yes, when we tried to work with the thermostat, we had the door closed. It kept giving us errors over and over again. A staff individual came to try to help but left saying he would go to the mechanical room to fix, only nothing came of that. Also, initially when I booked the room through Booking.com - it intimated that pets were free. I looked on the LaQuinta website after checking in and really had to search before I found out that there was a pet fee. I wouldn't have booked my stay if I knew this for I had found other hotels for Ocean City that had no fee. When I checked in, I had no knowledge of an extra fee. And that staff member said it was $25 per night. I found out that it was $25 per night or a maximum of $40-again the staff member didn't know. In the end he told me there was a mixup and charged me $46.00. At this point I would NOT stay with this hotel again. They need to have better information, supply help for unknown things, and have the staff trained so they can give proper information.

Breakfast and location is good however there is no hot water. I was told they turn off heat, so we couldn't take a shower because there was no hot water on winter months. Unbelievable, the worst.

Great location and great breakfast complimentary. Room Floor needed extra clean, we can hear noise from neighbors next door.

Floor was not clean, and noisy sound from the neighbor room.

Had some issues with the HVAC in the room. Had to be moved and it was a colder than usual weekend. We did get some money back for the inconvenience, so kudos to the manager on duty.

They had a free breakfast that was tidy. The small pet area outside with pet bags. That was nice since there isn't a lot of terf for the dogs to use. The staff was very friendly.

The bathroom had long black hair in the tub.. the vents were so dusty, it was really gross, the vent in the bathroom was just as bad as the ceiling vent in the bedroom. The pillows felt like cottage cheese. All lumps that as soon as you put your head on it, you sunk. It offered zero support.
