Just the location

Housekeeping lacks attention to detail. Walls around bathroom sink splattered with who-knows-what. Even nose boogers smeared on the wall were never cleaned off. Also, they have parking issues. Every time we returned to the hotel to park in the adjacent Hyatt parking garage. They tried to run us off and make us park blocks away because the garage was full. We talked our way into the garage each time, only to find plenty of parking spots available.

Price excessive for tired old rooms and when you pay for sea view it is half sea and half city not strictly sea view unless you are one of the elite. Te and coffee tasteless and limited. No robes or vanity kits.

The room was spacious and clean. Love that they have a bidet. Friendly staff.

Where to start off? In any other part of the world that would be barely a 2-star hotel. First, more than half of their personnel are rude and not professional. They have attitude. One day a guy did not allow me to have breakfast although I had paid an extra fee for that. Eventually husband manager sorted this situation but it caused me huge inconvenience. Seriously, you need to be taught how to offer high quality services and proper attitude. They don’t respect your money. Swimming pool was funny, my bathtub probably bigger. They only know how to charge extra fees on top of the room rate without providing proper facilities.

The obvious best part of this hotel was the location, I had never been to Hawaii before and I can see why people love it. The hotel is really well integrated with the street, the beach, and all the shops. It just takes an elevator ride and an escalator down before you’re shopping or hitting the sand. A bonus was having a great view, even when I was on a high floor. But the next best thing was the staff. There are good folks working there, and I want to give them a lot of credit. Besides the nice service at the front desk, the restaurant, and the tour guides, the best example showed up on the first night. My first night in Honolulu was unlucky, stormy weather led to power outages throughout the city with the hotel being affected. I saw one group of visitors get stuck in an elevator which is pretty horrible. But I saw some of the staff work as best they can to help them, with a staff member staying with them by the door to let them know someone was nearby. That memory stuck with me by the time I got back to my own room. Good people work there.

There were a lot of little things that added up to me dinging my score. The room had certain imperfections like walls with signs of cut wallpaper, the rug was kinked up and bumpy. The tv is one of those tvs where you can’t access the hdmi ports and the chrome cast wasn’t very reliable. The ice machine on the floor was broken. The lobby, while interesting, is pretty confusing when you’re first arriving because everything flows into the ground floor shops and street. And then there’s the way the door to the hallway doesn’t block sound very well. The poolside restaurant isn’t… the best. Like it’s fine, but it’s expensive and not the best food. It’s not a deal breaker as there were plenty of nearby places to eat. Probably the least fun part of staying at this hotel were the hidden fees for staying in Hawaii , and the way I expected an ocean view but got an “ocean view” which could see the ocean but wasn’t directly pointed at the sea like I expected. I’m not sure if it was booking’s fault for not showing all the different fees or not. It feels like I should’ve gotten a better quality hotel for the final price, but you’re really paying for the location.

위치가 매우 맘에 들었습니다. 저는 렌트를 해갔기 때문에 사실 이동에 큰 어려움은 없었지만 와이키키는 걸어서 다니기에 매우 좋은 위치여서 아침 저녁으로 산책하기도 좋았고, 거점? 같은 위치라 액티비티 픽업드랍할 때도 편하게 왔다갔다 할 수 있었습니다. 해변도 가깝고 비치타월, 비치체어, 고프로 등을 빌려주기 때문에 물놀이 하러 가는 게 너무 편했습니다. 매일 갈 수도 있을 것 같아요 ㅋㅋ 방도 굉장히 넓어서 짐을 늘어놓아도 공간 여유가 충분했고 하와이 숙소는 다 오래되어서 낡았다고 했지만 생각보다 깔끔했고 전혀 불편함 없이 지냈습니다.

예약이 두 건이었지만 한 룸에서 연박을 했는데 디파짓을 2번 부과한 것. 체크인 시 만나는 프론트 직원은 호텔의 얼굴이자 첫 인상이라고 할 수 있는데 제가 경험한 프론트 직원들은 그렇게 친절하진 않았습니다.

部屋は、ツインタワーのダイヤモンドヘッド側タワー３２階オーシャンフロントでした。３２階バルコニーから見る海は、青く、太陽の光でキラキラひかっていて、飲み物を飲みながら眺めているだけで贅沢な時間を過ごせました。サンセットも視界を遮るものが無く見え最高でした。ワイキキビーチ中央部に位置しているので、ビーチまで０分、買い物に行くにも最高な立地でした。また、ラウンジが宿泊費に含まれていたので朝食は、バイキング形式で、昼間の休憩や食後のソフトドリンク、コーヒーなどもフリーでお得でした。24時間使えるのも便利。

あえて言うなら、ビーチに持っていく無料貸し出しタオルが一回なくなっていたこと。

Long lead times for even basic things like getting a lift to go up and down the rooms, checking in and being able to talk to someone at front desk. The swimming pool was non-functional for the whole time of our stay. Basic facilities like a hot water kettle and microwave missing. The tea/coffee provided in room were sub standard.
