location. quiet & clean.

cute little hotel-had everything you could need to not have to leave!

everything was too expensive from the breakfast to the gift shop. the location was ok.

There was no breakfast, employee called in sick. Weather wad extremely cold and windy.. . made our morning somewhat difficult as we had a hungry teenager with us.

Nice hotel, nice bedroom, close to everything in town. Almost in front of the State Capitol, walking distance from downtown. A really pretty town. Would have been perfect if...

They booked us a room right below a floor that was under renovation... After a 6hr drive and a very late arrival (in the early morning), being woken up at 8am by hammers and drills right above us was particularly tough... (and it was not for 5 minutes... They kept doing that constantly) After 30min of this stressful treatment, we called the reception, but they acted surprised. No, we were mistaken: it was not right above us, at least several floors... We took the elevator ti check , and it was exactly the floor right above us. It has been like that for several weeks. A whole renovation. We took a shower and went to the front desk. They just said that we had to understand: they needed to keep the hotel booked, otherwise they wouldn't have any money (the hotel had several wings, though). And they couldn't "get [us] a refund because [we] went up 1hr early" (they planned that we would have woken up at 9am. Thanks for telling us, we didn't know that!) Oh, and no shower cap in the bathroom.

The room was actually more comfortable than expected. It turned out to suit our visit and travel plans very nicely.

For the price we paid, I believe breakfast should have been included. I've noticed higher priced hotels don't, for some reason, include breakfast whereas the more reasonably priced hotels do. That was a down-side. We did get breakfast on one day, but frankly the quality was not the best. If La Quinta can do it, so can Hilton.

Location, new fixtures, comfy bedding, view of the Capitol, attached to a steak-house, parking is convenient.

It was beautiful! Very good location and easy to spot. The staff was amazing. The room was big and wonderful! The floor in the bathroom was heated!!! What a LUXURY! Everything was so clean. The absolutely best part for me though……was the gift shop! THANK YOU SO MUCH for having that gift shop!

There wasn’t clear cut instructions for where the guests were supposed to park, or at least I didn’t see any. The sweet lady checking me in had to tell me what to do. I wish the breakfast had been better. It wasn’t complimentary and the choices were a little lackluster. But……it was convenient and we took advantage of it.
