The staff member when I arrived was very friendly and personable, she informed me of all the amenities of the property at check-in. Breakfast was decent and included with the stay. Pet-friendly at no additional cost. Great location, right off the interstate and next to Cabelas, Walmart, Culver’s, etc.

My room did not have a smoke detector (photo included), I went to make coffee with the in-room coffee maker and found a very dirty reservoir (photo included), my phone was dead when I left (forgot to plug it in) so I didn’t get a photo, but I noticed there were stains on the window curtains, the wallpaper was peeling, and there appeared to be mold (all above the air unit/window). I also found it strange that the gravy was in a basic crockpot. The room was listed at $140 on a weeknight, very overpriced!

The smoke detector was broken along with several lamps in the room. There were dead bugs in the bathroom. The back door to the building was unlocked so anyone could come and go as they pleased. They placed my daughter and I in the very back by the stairwell with direct access to the open door. I had to take security measures into my own hands because I was not risking my daughter being kidnapped. The staff were never at the front desk and we had to wait 20 minutes for someone to show up. We were on a time crunch and the 20 minutes was detrimental to our getting ready for an event. The bed was super wonky and completely uneven. super weird. The price was not cheap! I was expecting better! In short, stay at the Holiday Inn right across the street.

I had asked for a top floor, quiet room, which I did not get. I had a rather noisy room near an exit.

I loved the cozy lodge like feel of this place. The staff was warm and inviting and the beds were very comfortable.

A little updating to fixtures & finishes would improve their score but really I loved it, would stay here again and recommend it to others.

Nice big room with 2 queen beds. Tub was low for easy access. Good hot breakfast. Easy on/off interstate.
