Good location, nice cabins by the lake. Small beautiful private beach and pier. Good kitchenettes.
While booking I did not understand we would not get a cabin by the lake, but a room in a rowhouse on the other side of the highway. Spaceheater was stuck in the high eighties in fahrenheight and time. Furnishing is rough, cabin style.

We enjoyed the properties great location right at the lake, the friendly staff and the pool.
Had to cross a road to get to the lake .

Clean, simple, ordinary rooms. Mainly picked it for the price and the location (proximity to skiing).
As an aside, the reception lady told us she was giving us a lakeside room as if she was doing us some kind of favor, but really it was right next to the highway with no view of the lake. This is not a negative, as I don't care about a lake view or not, but I found it hilarious that she acted like it was an upgrade.
Everything was fine

Horrible service and place no heater
I worked in to check in. The lady on front desk was so frustrated. She said oh people are booking from everywhere for stay. I need to check if I have any clean room. I told asked her why she had no clean room if we are checking in at 6 pm. You rooms are available to book. You should be happy people are booking rooms. It's great for business. I asked her about restaurant she said heeres a map. Steak house over priced. Just orde pizza. Then we went to our room. The heater did not work. I called front desk. She said there is nothing I can do. there is a potable heater in room use that. I told her this is unexpectable. It's winter. Heater is a nessary. We tried to use portable heater but we chivered all night with my little daughter. We checked out at 530 am could not take the cold anymore. I called office at 10 am told them about heater and the key was in room we checked out at 6/530 am. Horrible service and place. The owner of this place needs to look into this.

Well-stocked lodge, great kitchen, comfortable place.
The place is a lie, and completely misleading, booked this lodge specifically to be on the lake. Was the main reason I chose it. On check-in, they put me in a cabin on a different lot on the other side of the road. When I asked about being on the lake, I was told it would be an extra $300 a night. I was the only guest staying on the entire property for numerous days, and yet they still wouldn't offer to put me in the lakefront cabins.
The heater in the room was as loud as a jet engine, which comes on randomly during the night.

Comfortable bed, quiet
The place was nearly empty and they stuck us in the cabin furthest from the beach next to a dumpster. It was my 40th birthday and I spent a lot of money(for me) to stay in a completely underwhelming room.

Really charming little cabins with a heated pool and lots of outdoor space for kids to play, BBQ and eat at picnic tables, ping pong tables, etc. I can't speak for the lakefront rooms, but their location looks perfect. Beach is right across the street (walking distance) and has clear water & soft sand.
The one bedroom was definitely "cozy", and could use some updating. Yes, it's supposed to look and feel rustic, and it does. Bathroom is really dated and the floor was sinking. Instead of couches, there are two "day beds" which are really just twin beds. They work great as beds, but not ideal for much else. Although I'm not sure what they'd use instead that would still accommodate relatively comfortable sleeping. (I have never seen a pull out couch bed that isn't horribly uncomfortable. These were better than that at least!) Would have loved a grassy area on the forest side, and maybe fire pits? Overall, you're getting a camping/cabin experience and it's a great place. However, the summer pricing seems a bit high to me. Spring pricing was much more palatable.
