Het hotel is 8 jaar geleden nieuw gebouwd in een klassieke stijl. Zowel van buiten als van binnen ziet het hotel er mooi en smaakvol uit. Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt was goed.

Love the tub, the rest of the room was ok at best, many other things were not up to standards of the rates that we paid per night
The room was not great, not properly cleaned, could have been much better, little details were overlooked

Beautifully decorated, the grounds are great for stretching out after traveling or to enjoy the outdoors. Happy hour offered free drinks, which was a nice surprise!

Breakfast exceptional, dog friendly porch dining was comfortable and welcoming. Dinner was also delicious. If I wasn’t on a time constraint I would love to have stayed an additional day or two.

Clean, modern, great location with a restaurant. No coffee/tea maker in room but is provided in the lobby in the morning. There is a free social hour of wine and cheese from 5-6pm. Front desk were friendly and helpful. Since there is no business center, I needed help printing an e-mail. I forwarded my e-mail to Jennifer, Front Office Manager, who printed it for me. Appreciated the great customer service. Allows dogs. Orvis flagship store within easy walking distance. Hildene, the Lincoln Family Home is a short drive from the hotel..

It’s a pet friendly hotel, for that reason I picked it.
We stayed for 6 days with my dog husband and sister, at check out moment, the person on the front desk (afroamerican) didn’t answer the phone, I’m pregnant I had to go downstairs to let them know I was leaving, because my husband was going fro the car and he didn’t see anyone on the desk, there was no staff available to help me with the luggage, finally the person came out to the desk and gave me the luggage cart so my sister and I had to go for our bags and bring them to the car, again I’m pregnant first time I have to be the luggage person paying 300$/ night. Hotel is beautiful but staff wasn’t available, not good at all.

rooms were beautiful but promised a bath tub and none in room. had to upgrade to a cottage and bathtub was too small for my 13 year old son!! tiny!!

They charged me with a $35 resort fee. This came on top of an agreed room rate. This is underhanded and should not be permitted.
