The staff was extremely nice, the room was clean when we got there, the hotel was always clean, and everyone that works there was nice. This is my third year in a row staying at this hotel and I choose it every time cause they have amazing prices, it’s clean, staff is nice, and they have amazing service.

Kudos to Larry, the African ~American Male Hotel Associate on the evening shift. He was concerned, courteous , professional and kind. A pleasure to talk with. The information he gave us about my stay was clear and correct. My family and I thank Larry very much for everything. Next year I will again book my stay at Candlewood Suites, because of the wonderful care I received this year. Many Thanks, Larry

The hotel is difficult to see from the highway. A taller and larger sign is needed.

when we arrived to check in, we were told they had overbooked and we didn’t have a room. they called a hotel owned by the same company to see if they had a room. they did. the manager at Candlewood said they would pay the expense but my credit card showed my original charge for Candlewood and then an additional charge for $522 that was what they owed Avid for taking us in. I will never book with Candlewood again.

Staff was very nice, and the proximity to the airport where I was working was excellent, straight down the road. The hotel was seemed to not have high occupancy, so it was very quite. The pantry selections were nice.

It could have been cleaner certainly... the room bathroom had grime in the shower and around the sink. The room recliner was ripped. I had to ask to switch desk chairs as the one I had was stabbing me in the legs with bolts sticking through the material on the seat. Felt dated. The TV didn't have a sleep timer... well it did, but you had to thumb through the options using the options button on the TV itself... most people wouldn't go that far.

Location was great, bed was comfortable

Room was musty, had a weird odor, the couch was uncomfortable and felt grimy, the water in the toilet ran constantly. We were looking forward to spending time in the outdoor pool, but it had no water in it and the sign said “closed for the season” …in the middle of June.
