accommodation was lovely.very accommodating host. bedroom was large with wonderful comfy bed,great duvet and linen.not many rooms so had a very personal feel. very convenient for two restaurants which was very good after a long haul flight, didn’t need to walk far.
my only comment would be is about the breakfast. fruit,yoghurt all great but would have liked some fresh bread,croissants,toast. not a major problem, just a helpful comment.

The room was incredible. Best sleep I have had in a long time. Even though you are very close to everything, it is quiet and peaceful in the manor. The shower was amazing, I will be buying a similar shower head for my bathroom at home now.

Staff is friendly, check-in and out was easy. Bed was very comfortable and shower was big.
It's an old building with wood floors so if you have a 1st FL room and someone is staying above you, be prepared to have a noisy stay.

The anti Ellen building was very beautiful and co forcible. The managers were attentive, the breakfast good.

Breakfast was prepared fresh daily, good presentation, although there was a lot of pre made food versus homemade as it appeared in the ad online. Our host was very hospitable.
Please whatever you do remove the word soundproof from the room details. Having a train within walking distance that blows its whistle through town numerous times throughout the middle of the night does not make for a soundproof room. Although the grounds were lovely you could tell that they needed some work whether the groundskeeper was off for the days we were there not so sure just needed a little spiffing up. Especially for the price that was paid.
