It was charming and welcoming. The property was clean and details for comfort were obvious everywhere. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

The sign out front was obscured by foliage making it a little hard to find at first.

Beautiful grounds, wonderful breakfasts, private swimming pool and very peaceful.

The innkeepers were great hosts; their recommendations of restaurants and river rafting companies were very helpful. There is an extensive library in the main house; I borrowed a copy of The Tempest to read before seeing the play. Breakfast was different each of the four mornings we were there; all were excellent. The property has a lot of relaxing green space but is only a 15-minute walk from downtown.

Very convenient to downtown, pool was lovely and relaxing. The grounds were peaceful and lush with their kitty and resident deer around. The main building for breakfast and lounging has lots of books to explore. Our room was very comfortable with updated bedding linens than what is photographed on the booking.com page. The breakfast was delicious and very filling. We actually didn't even have to eat lunch bc of it's size. Delicious coffee. This was a good fit for our relaxing, lazy weekend exploring Ashland.

The hosts are very gifted in the art of hospitality. They present delicious food and inspire lively conversation at breakfast. The Inn and grounds are charming and very comfortable.

We stayed in the cottage and loved it! It is roomy and well appointed with a very comfy king bed and a private patio. The walls in the dining room/study in the main building are lined with hundreds of books - very cozy and inviting! The breakfasts (we were there 2 days) were absolutely scrumptious, though they were so generous that we couldn't finish everything and still walk away from the table. William is a wonderful cook and Corbett is the server/breakfast entertainment. He's a riot! Both of them are very knowledgeable about Shakespeare, plays, musicals and everything Ashland. I hope to return with my two sisters!

I'm thinking and thinking and thinking about what I didn't like. I didn't like that I couldn't finish the delicious breakfasts! Everything else was perfect.

The room was lovely. Nice attention to detail. Bed was super comfortable. Exceptional breakfast. Our Innkeepers, Corbett and William went above and beyond to extend a wonderful warm welcome. The Inn is within walking distance to the main center of Ashland with charming shops and restaurants. We look forward to staying there again.

well located, nice property, engaging hosts

William and Corbert are wonderful hosts and their inn is stunning. The property is stunning, the grounds are lovely and the rooms are prefect. Breakfast was a real treat!

The place was charming and the hosts were wonderful. The included breakfast was delicious and a very generous proportion.

Breakfast was delicious! William made it himself. Both of the hosts were friendly and accommodating. We were the only people who came on this particular night so they gave us the larger room. I totally forgot that this was a classic BnB, so when I showed up and got such a personal introduction I was surprised! The inn has a hundreds of books and is cozy and comfortable.

I have no negative comments for this venue! If you're not a fan of co-mingling with other guests or the hosts, then this wouldn't be the place for you.

The owners are the kindest couple and so interesting to talk to. We enjoyed the exceptional breakfast and conversation. We will definitely go back and stay when traveling through Ashland.

Everything was as advertised

The house and grounds were lovely, the room was attractive and comfortable. The most outstanding part of this lodging is the hosts. We enjoyed talking to the two of them and found them to be intelligent, caring, and intersting folks. They also bend over backwards to create an outstanding breakfast.

Only thing I could have used was a spare blanket. It was a little chilly and there was none in the room.
