The back yard was nice and private.

The house was filthy the tables had dirt, food and ring marks on them cause they were not wiped after last guests were there. The bath tub had a ton of dead bugs in so it clearly was not cleaned recently. There were holes in the walls and the place literally stunk. Every screen to all three doors were completely ripped so we couldn’t keep doors open for fresh air at all. There was literally a dirty foot print on on of the bedroom walls, whoever is supposed to be cleaning the cabins are NOT doing a very good job. When we arrived it took 5 phone calls to finally get through to someone to get our golf cart keys we were calling and waiting for almost 2 hours before they arrived with the keys. Most of the plugs didn’t work so we had to move the toaster to be able to use it. We paid $1500 for cabin and $200 for the golf cart, for two nights and it was not worth it at all. I will be calling the management team again, I Iet them know as soon as we got there that the place was a mess.

Put in bay review dont book if you are planning a cedar point trip. Booking.com listing (which Put in bay controls content) says they are 14 miles from Cedar Point. What they fail to say is that its actually 40 min plus a ferry ride at $$$ per person and you are staying on an island. Oh, and make sure you leave the park by about 7 because you don’t want to miss the last ferry for your long trek home. False advertising and they refused to refund me. Jose at booking.com agreed that this was bad advertising and he was ‘mad for us’. But of course everyone just points fingers at each other. Put in Bay was the 3rd lodging on the first page that showed up on Booking.com when searing for lodging close to cedar point. Kelly at put in bay told me she couldn’t change my reservation to another date, when we could just come to enjoy what Put in Bay has to offer, instead we are just out $800. This place looks really fun, but not for what we had planned which was hauling 3 kids under 8 to and from Cedar Point for 3 days. The absolute least Put in Bay could have done is let us push our reservation back, which is what we were told by both Booking.com and Put in Bay 2 days prior to our stay once we dug deeper and leaned it was a long trek to an island. And now that our stay has passed, they are telling us no. Buyer beware. This is not easy lodging for Cedar Point as advertised by booking.com and Put in Bay. I also asked for the owner to contact me, which of course, he never did. Now on booking.com, put in bay has changed wording so I can’t contest it with booking.com. I’m out $800. And they were extremely rude to deal with.
