Close to highway, hills in view

View from room was right over the truck stop parking lot. Not very nice at all, and a little noisy.

The directions for the address took us to an entirely different business/wedding venue about a mile down the road. When we finally figured it out- after MULTIPLE times up and down that road and down the highway- the actual entrance to the property was not easy to find. While there is a small sign at the light there, it is easily missed. And if you miss it- you are right back on the highway with no exit for a while in the opposite direction! It was also disappointing to find that pet owners seem to have made little to no effort to clean up behind their pets. It might help if there were a bag dispenser outside near the pavilion or that side door.

Bed was comfortable. Shower was decent.

We supposedly booked a 699 sq ft king. The room we were given was under 300 sq ft. When we complained, we were told they had another king that she thought was larger. She wouldn’t let me take a look before we moved our stuff. In fact, it was smaller. We just settled for that. No compensation was given

The lady at the desk was really nice

Roaches. We were in our room for all of 30 minutes and I found 2 live roaches, and an egg sack right on the dresser. Was offered another room, but if one room has bugs, I promise they all do! We checked out IMMEDIATELY. We were also offered for the manager to contact us about a partial refund, no contact has been made with us. Very disappointed!
