Stunning location, right on the ocean!

This motor inn is located right on the ocean. There is a deck that runs along the ocean side with stairs down to the beach, and the room had a sliding window wall. If the weather had been warmer, we could have walked on the beach. Beautiful views! This would probably be a great site for much warmer weather and people who love the beach!

This is an older facility. The room was large and the information about the room said it would sleep 4, but there was a not-that-comfortable double bed up against the wall on one end (so one of us had to crawl out at the end of the bed) and a roll-out couch. The bathroom was tiny. Not what we had expected for the amount we paid. There was a large blue light outside our room all night long, and the curtains were thin. Not the inn's fault, but the people staying near us were out on the deck coughing and smoking and walking around quite late.

Dated but well maintained and equipped. Small bathroom. The prize is the view and location right on the beach. If you have a beach-loving dog, it will be in heaven. Dogs are allowed from September 16 until June. Good restaurants nearby and a sub, pizza and great ice cream place within walking distance. No elevator so keep that in mind when reserving. Great, protected beach for swimming on one end, wave action on the other.

Breakfast was just beverages and pastries but they were high quality. I found the room temperature impossible to adjust except by opening the door to the balcony. No AC.

We loved staying at Cape Anne Motor Inn. The room was very clean and the beds are comfy. The view is beautiful and the staff is exceptional. it’s situated on a nice walking beach. We will definitely look forward to staying there again.

The best feature of this hotel is that every room has an amazing view of the ocean. This compensates for everything else that may not be outstanding.

Everything’s bit old and tired. There is a beautiful and sad parrot in a cage in the lobby. I’m not sure if this is not animal abuse. Parrots live long. It’s terrible to keep it in a cage its whole life. This poor thing was there last year, too.

The staff were very kind and helpful, check in was smooth.

The room was horribly unclean, with stains and dog hair covering the beds and sheets. The furniture was in poor condition (old and past useful life). The bathroom was dirty and desperately in need of renovation, with poor patch work repairs behind the toilet and around piping.

We were on the 3rd floor with no elevators, we unfortunately aren't spring chickens any more so it wasn't fun. coffee wasn't very good.
