Breakfast extremely basic -

Outdoor fire pit was not working. No inside fire place

Fix the damn fire pit. Second year in a row it was not working when we went with our 14 friends for our annual Virginia Creeper weekend.

The breakfast was good. We loved the hotel room! The indoor pool and gym were very nice! The staff was super friendly! We loved the close location to downtown and the great little places to eat!

Nothing!! Everything was perfect.

Room was dirty, had not been cleaned by housekeeping, when we entered the room. Took an hour for it to be cleaned. Given excuses as to why room wasn't clean upon arrival. No discount for our inconvenience.

Poor - food was cold and coffee not very good. We went elsewhere after tasting things.

Omelette needs to be hot or at least above cold. I do not think it was heated through as it looked like the middle was just outside of a frozen state.

It was clean and modern. The staff were attentive and the building is far enough from the highway that the stay was quiet. The bathroom shower was great!

The rooms are not very soundproof.

The beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly. The room was clean. The view was nice.

Due to a change of family plans, we had to move the reservation from Sunday night to Saturday night and the difference in price was almost $100. That seems excessive for the area and we were not pleased. The guests in the room next to ours were noisy, but not noisy enough to complain to the front desk or get our room moved. I had requested top floor if possible and did not get it. My husband and I had breakfast at the hotel and both got food poisoning. We believe it was the eggs & cheese, since that was the only item we both had. Needless to say, our drive home that day and the next was pretty dreadful.

Requested quite room ended up in room facing highway 3rd Fl very noisy with truck traffic. Requested room change they refused. A/c noisy and refrigerator noisy. They said no rooms available to change to. Checked Marriott website found 3 king beds rooms available after our check in.
