really missed no firewood so no fire and it snowed so sad we couldn’t have a fire and even though we didn’t use it there was no way to watch anything on the tv. I wish it had a DVD player at least. other than those two things we enjoyed it very much

The house was clean and spacious. It was exactly as described.

No code was sent over to me to open the lock box. I downloaded the app to make sure that I got the code, but the code never appeared. It said it would appear on the day of my arrival, but I had arrived and there was no code. I could not call the office because there was no cell service at the house. I had to go back to town to make the call and was on hold for over a half hour before someone answered. Once I was finally able to get thru, I got the code, went back to the house, and was able to enter with no problem.

Location is great, price was very good. House was clean, kitchen is specious, big patio. There were 5 adult friends and a baby under 1yo, we enjoyed staying there.

Thankful for wifi, hot and cold water, the toilets flushed, coffee maker, refrigerator, and microwave oven.

Went to get into bed in the master bedroom and noticed that the fitted sheet was dirty, wrinkled and had hair all over it. Only the top sheet had been changed. The bed in the second bedroom appeared clean. Both beds were very hard and uncomfortable. The youth bed in the third bedroom was the most comfortable but it smelled like urine. The pillows smelled, and most of them didn't have fresh pillowcases. I found one pillow that didn't smell and had a clean pillow case. I had to buy Lysol wipes for the toilet seat. The seat had been cleaned on the top but the edges were dirty. The kitchen countertops were beautiful granite but were not clean, but couldn't see it. I was surprised when I took a Lysol wipe to it. The couch was filthy and the cushions on it. I've seen cleaner couches along the roadside with a free sign on them. It got up into the '90s and there was no air conditioning. There were two ceiling fans. One in the master bedroom that had the dirty bed, and the living room. The second bedroom was very hot. If there had been clean sheets in the laundry cabinet I would have changed the bed in the master bedroom and slept in there with the ceiling fan on. The cookware were items that you couldn't use. There wasn't one small pot. There was a huge skillet, and a strainer for making spaghetti, and a very filthy cast iron skillet.

The kitchen and living room area was very comfortable and great for cooking and staying indoors on a cold day. It lightly snowed overnight enough to dust the trees and the deck with fresh snow. We used the firestove in the living room to keep us warm and didn't need to use the heating for the house. We loved that the area was nice and quiet.

We would suggest a mat for the entryway. We kept the place clean by removing our shoes. There was a dishwasher but no soap for it. A minor inconvenience.

It was a little difficult to see the lockbox. I also wondered if the combo was set for each guest or always the same one. I prefer RemoteLock or any other smart lock that generates an individual code and/or asks the guest for the code they want so you don't worry if all past guests and cleaners can walk in on you or steal stuff
