Our room was cozy and pretty clean upon check-in. The bed was very comfortable. The location was very good. It was a far walk to the beach (we drove over) but very close to a supermarket and great restaurants for dinner.

There were no housekeeping services for a 5 night stay. When we needed basic necessities, we had to call and ask for toilet paper, coffee, soap, etc. We found this demeaning given the cost of the room. We even dumped our own trash and recycling. We were promised the use of the pool but it was locked up when we tried to use it. Being asked to provide a certain gratuity for non-existent housekeeping services was inconsiderate. The towels provided and bath amenities were very cheap. On check-in, we were provided 3 pages of rules to follow. We are responsible adults and this, again, was demeaning. We will not be back.

We loved the feel of the room. It was romantic and very clean. The staff was extremely friendly.

We liked the quiet neighborhood, the easy access to our room. Here was ample parking near the entrance. we also enjoyed all the many amenities, such as hot tub and jacuzzi. The room had beautiful ambiance.

It would have been nice to have a dresser, where the 2 wicker chairs were placed. We used the end tables to place a few pieces of our clothing, I.e. swim suits and some casual tops. Also, it would have been nice to have a few hooks, maybe over the the bathroom door, to hang a robe and towels. I know there are some things you cannot control, such as the habits of the people leasing on the 2nd floor, I.e. being heavy footed and moving furniture in the early hours of the morning.

If you’re like me and need to know the place you’re staying will be clean, THIS is the place. Location to the beach was perfect and the tub was an added bonus.

We liked the location and the space. The jetted tub was great and the bed was very comfortable. The bathrobes were a great little touch! Space was very clean and well kept. Decor was very nice and well maintained.

We do have two suggestions just to make the space even better: 1. maybe look into getting room darken curtains for glass doors. The room was very bright early in the morning making it a little tough to sleep in. 2. Possible upgrade on the fireplace thermostat to be a remote system for added relaxation for guests

Staff was wonderful. We were there during off season, yet staff was able to meet all our expectation.

We were very impressed by this property. It's even beautiful enough to serve as a honeymoon suite for a lucky couple. We stayed there for three nights and had the pleasure of meeting the owners--a relatively young couple with five children. Although young, they are experienced in hotel management as owners of the Florentine hotel in Wildwood. They were very responsive to all our email questions and were willing to be slightly flexible in regard to check-in time. The owner/manager materialized just as we arrived and cheerfully carried our heavy bags to the second story carriage house. The accommodations were spacious, the bed was incredibly comfy with great microfiber sheets that felt like silk, and we had our choice of a shower or a jacuzzi bathtub, one where you could really stretch out. The water temperature was perfect. We loved the fireplace--low flames but it heated the room perfectly on Christmas. When the Keurig coffee machine needed descaling and didn't work, the lovely couple immediately replaced it with another machine--on a Sunday no less. The apartment is conveniently located in North Wildwood; one could easily walk to the supermarket or local liquor store to stock the refrigerator. The unit comes with a TV with cable channels. We liked that the television was located in the living room, so one could watch TV without disturbing a sleeping partner. The overhead ceiling was nicely paneled and a pleasure to view. The unit also came with a great ceiling fan, ensuring wonderful circulation. It's hard to believe this beautiful property was once a garage. I only hope I haven't praised it so much that it's unavailable next Christmas when we hope to return to visit my brother.

Perhaps next summer, the outside door to the cottage might be repainted. Some guests had been a little hard on it.
